Our therapist was well-suited to working with children and was creative in keeping things interesting while still making progress. When timing was tight and I gave my child the opportunity to reschedule PT, my child always chose PT. We are very appreciative of Leann and Melody.

I would love to tell you about the great people at Voyage Physical Therapy. Our therapist was one of the few people that my daughter has been willing to work with. Her therapist was kind, patient, sensitive, skilled, and a great person to work with. We collaborated together in a partnership to help my child. My child made great progress under her therapist’s care. Having therapy in the home was an absolute bonus!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience when seeking care for our daughter. Our pediatrician recommended that our daughter seek physical therapy and Voyage was on her list of recommendations. With a baby, I'm always looking for the easiest way to get her to her appointments, so having Voyage come to our home was super convenient!

We worked with Melody, and she was so kind and patient with my daughter. She gave me clear instructions on exercises to do between appointments, and she was unphased when my daughter was overtired or grumpy. Melody even brought my daughter a present when she "graduated" from PT! Melody provides compassionate care that will undoubtedly help your child improve rapidly. Highly recommend!

My child has been working with Melody and Leann for over 6 months now and I have nothing but great things to say! Melody is always quick to respond to any emails, and is very helpful with sorting out insurance questions and documentation. We have had the pleasure of working with Leann as my child's therapist. My child is always so happy to see her and with her guidance he is making amazing progress. I also love the in-home therapy aspect. Leann shows us how to do various exercises in our own space so it is easy to replicate the exercises throughout the week. I would recommend MelodyPT to everyone!

We worked with Melody to get a physical evaluation before committing to a helmet. We wanted another opinion before doing so. After receiving our evaluation, we worked with Melody for a few months before being "discharged."

+ Melody accommodated our schedule to evaluate our baby. This showed us she was just as committed and understanding to our situation.
+ She worked well with our baby, and I could tell our baby responded well to her. As a mom, that put me to ease. We were "trying" out another physical therapist that our insurance covered. Our baby didn't respond well to that one, and I could tell she didn't know how to work with babies. When I saw Melody working with ours, I knew she had the experience and patience to. She was able to quickly redirect our baby to gather the information she needed to compile a thorough evaluation.
+ Melody has a wealth of knowledge to help translate the anatomy and physical body science jargon into every day language. It was easy for me to understand what she was observing and what she could do for our baby. It also helped me better understand general baby development.
+ Having Melody go into homes to do a physical therapy session benefited us in many ways. Most importantly, she was able to come to Newark to do our sessions and we were also able to meet in the peninsula to do her session. Either way, her flexibility helped us meet her for our baby's appointment especially on days when there are multiple appointments.
+ Working with another professional, it is not only important for me to work with someone who has knowledge but also the skills or "magic" in that profession, but it is also important they are someone I can work well with. Melody has those qualities.
+ She is quick in responding
+ She sends the report to your pediatrician so the pediatrician is updated to the happenings on your baby's development. It takes a village!

We did have to pay out of pocket or receive a superbill to get reimbursement from our insurance.

Overall, if you're looking for a physical therapist for your baby or child, please look for someone who has experience working with kids. It is a game-changer. And if you're looking for one, Melody is your person.

I'm a pelvic floor physical therapist and I wanted to kindly leave this review for Melody and her colleague, Leann. Melody provides pediatric physical therapy and is someone I gladly refer patients/kiddos/babies to because of her genuineness, kindness, and authenticity with people and her clients. She really cares for her patients, and puts them first. Her focus is on the patient, not just trying to get you in/out the door. I admire her passion for pediatric PT and the quality of care she provides for her clients and families. She also does in-home visits too, which is honestly one of the most ideal and natural environments to treat little kiddos in! Highly recommend Melody and Leann!

I reached out to Melody to proactively help us with some concerns with my daughter hitting milestones. We worked together 3.5 months and with Melody's guidance, my daughter has hit every single one and continues to rapidly progress every day. In addition to being so knowledgeable about PT, she is so warm and made all of us comfortable in her care. We are so happy to graduate but will miss seeing Melody each week.
