I’ve always been a very self-reflective and self-motivated thinker with a strong family support system, so counseling and therapy were never on my radar. I was given the opportunity to be coached by Kim and was pleasantly surprised with the results and experience. During our sessions, it felt like Kim was the critical voice inside my head that asked me the hidden questions which I had previously overlooked on my own. Kim had a very poetic way of envisioning my frame of mind and transitioning my thoughts in a purposeful way. I just completed the initial 6 week PQ training. What a wonderful program! I have engaged in many forms of inner work over the years and this program really cuts to the chase. The foundational insights are extremely well-distilled by the genius who created it. It includes an app to support engagement with the practices, and to share with a larger community of PQers. I found both the app and the practices to be very user-friendly and streamlined. At the same time, the content is very substantive, encouraging, practical, and interesting. The people in my group were wonderful and our coach Kim guided us with great warmth, insight, clarity, savvy, and generosity.
Over the years I have had a lot of resistance to most forms of practice in being mindful, have and had to rely a lot on formal events to practice. This limitation has kept me from growing in many important respects. The PQ program--with the clear guidance of Kim and the founder, Shirzad Chamine, (as well as great input from my PQ working group)--has provided a wonderful opening and support for a simple but pointed practice that I can readily access and execute.
This has lead to increased self-awareness and self--honesty--about both my weaknesses and the strengths with which I can meet them. I can see more and more, day to day and hour to hour, how the first play out and how the second are available. Program activities and attitudes encompass empathy for difficulties we may experience, along with training in identifying and applying the very real, specific, positive, and practically applicable resources that we all come equipped with. I now have an efficient, grounded practice, which supports increasing awareness of my blind spots and of my assets. As a result I see myself becoming more effective in my undertakings and am experiencing a net increase in joy, confidence and self-trust.
There are affordable options for continuation after the initial training. I plan to continue in the program--to mine these awarenesses and to grow my strengths to the fullest. Thank you Kim!!

I just completed a 6-week PQ Program. What is that? It's essentially a program that helped me to reduce my negative self-talk, my judging of myself and judging of others. It gave me a better understanding of why I react the way that I do, and how to bounce back faster when I get upset or frustrated. I am so grateful for this program. It is helping me in my relationships with friends, co-workers and family members. But mostly it's giving myself more peace. Something we can all use more of!
