Three Rivers has been such a blessing to find. My son (16) went through a bought of really scary depression. He was hardly eating, he wasn't socializing and he was in a really difficult relationship. Ivy was communicative, and she listened. I don't know much of what was said in sessions, as he is old enough to have autonomy and privacy. What I do know is my son is himself again. I'm forever grateful for Ivy and for the councilors that worked along side her with my son. Our whole family thanks you. If you are looking for capable, empathetic, and professional counseling, I hope this review is helpful

As a child, I was raised against therapy. Thats probably why it's taken me so long to finally dig deep and trust a therapist to help me navigate through life. At Three Rivers, Nevada City, I feel "safe." For me, that is huge. I called Three Rivers and was scheduled within two weeks. I started going and haven't looked back. My therapist has a calming effect and great suggestions on how to deal with stress and anxiety all while reminding me not to lose sight of me and do at least one thing for me that I love every week. I will continue going weekly and if anyone asks, I always recommend Three Rivers.

Three Rivers Counseling is amazing, I’ve been going for a couple months and it’s been such a great experience. If you’re looking to improve yourself in any way don’t hesitate to give them a call. You can do virtual or in person meetings, I chose in person and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.

I am so incredibly grateful for my therapist Scott Hapak! His guidance for this past 6 months with his technics has helped me respond in more of a kind way, instead of reacting with upset and angry feelings. I truly appreciate how much I have learned and actually finally able to realize that " wow" this is actually working, and how much better i feel about myself! And at the end of the day, I can feel good and relax now ! Thank you Scott and I as always look forward for our next session!!
