The cube is a nice place to go ice skating. It offers a nice and large place to skate. The people and staff are nice. The snack bar is pretty good and the food there they serve is good. However, why 4 stars? Well, a few reasons. First of all, the upstairs bathrooms are never clean. The downstairs bathroom is cleaned more often but it’s only a quick wipe down because if you report something to staff they won’t address the issue to the people who clean the restrooms. The ice is in horrible condition. Scratches everywhere. The rink in general is not clean. The benches are sticky. Lastly, the ice skates are in horrible condition. The ice skates are dull and if you have a size 7 or up and want figure skates, good luck, because they only have hockey skates for the upper sizes. (In the blue) I prefer the blue skates because you strap them up. They are dull and rusty. I sometimes pray that my shoes won’t get taken because you have to pay for a locker. Thank you for the most part, The Cube, but I would be a little more considerate about your problems.

The Cube's easy to get to from the 5 FWY and Newhall Ranch Road, about 2 miles east and has plenty of parking, although they're a little snug.

There's 2 full sheets of ice, NHL and Olympic sized, along with a small "pond" size with ice walkers to help newer skaters.

There's a pro shop located downstairs by the entrance with hockey equipment, tape, etc. as well as figure skating gear.

You'll find bench style seating upstairs for the NHL and Olympic rinks. There's also a snack bar that serves alcohol, beer and specialty canned liquor/drinks. If you're not a fan of stairs, they've got an elevator.

Overall, the Cube's a nice facility.

Fun experience on Christmas Eve. The ice was in good condition. Best to go early near before opening to avoid the rush. It was not overcrowded. The food was at somewhat reasonable prices for dining. There are two skating rinks used for public skating. Loved the skating walkers for the kids. They helped build my 4 yo confidence and she left there able to move at a great pace. Highly recommended.

We hosted such a fun event last weekend, we had Santa, cookies and hot chocolate and of course, ice skating. The staff at the cube was very accommodating and helped with the set up and break down of the party. Everyone had so much fun!!

They have two nice large rinks and one smaller rink. Not alot in spectator seating. Drink and food available for purchase.

Dog friendly, but make sure they love children and are not sensitive to very loud sudden noises such as pucks slamming into the wall.

Great place for ice skating. They have 3 rinks, two full ones and a small junior rink. They have 3 different times a day for public skating. The most popular times are 130 to 430pm and 730 to 930pm. They do host parties upstairs and have deals for birthday group lessons. If you want to save money you can buy a pack of passes and get 12 for the price of 10. Also, you can save 5 bucks each entry if you bring your own skates. Upstairs, they have a grill that has decent grill food like hotdogs, pizza, fries, and hamburgers at a decent price as well. Great place to come and have some fun and cool off when it's hot. They also do skate sharpening for 10$ at the skate rental shop.

Best short track speed skating in LA today! There are still a few Olympic size ice rinks in LA, and this is probably the best one where you can do speedskating (Saturday mornings at 7:00 as of this report). The ice quality is fair compared to all the West Coast ice rinks where one can speedskate, and notably as of this update (6/25/2022), the ice is much dirtier than almost every rink I've skated. This is surprising to me since it used to be relatively clean (white) prior to the ownership change. In spite of this, the Cube remains the best speedskating gig in LA. [Update 6/17/2023] We had the Western States regional speedskating races here, about 2-1/2 hours of all ages racing excitement for 30 skaters. The ice was very good for short track speed. Each time I come back to this rink, it seems better and brighter than the previous time. [Update 9/30/2023] I enjoyed a speedskating training session here today, and the ice was very good. [Update 10/11/2024] The ice was good for the kind of speedskating practice that we did today, low-speed, edge-intensive drills. The ice held up well for this.
