We have been coming for about 3 months. Sean is great and engaging as a main teacher. However, often times it is just play based and the teachers arnt bringing the necessary energy to help the little ones build skill. It seems like this place is fine for an hour of your child moving around a bit but not really learning anything or increasing skill level. I would highly recommend getting instructors who have energy and want to be teaching the kids different moves rather than just walking
around and monitoring primarily

I’ve enrolled in the Cave’s Parent & Me toddler classes for both of my daughters over the past few years, each time hopeful for a fun and engaging experience. Unfortunately, both times left me disappointed. The instructor sat in the corner during every session and provided no instruction or meaningful interaction, beyond setting up an obstacle course at the beginning of class.

There was a noticeable lack of energy, engagement, or guidance, which made the class feel underwhelming and not worth the cost. I do see how the programs for older children seem more structured and enjoyable, but at the toddler level, this class didn’t meet expectations.

I really hope the program finds an instructor who’s passionate about working with toddlers and can bring some energy, creativity, and FUN into these sessions. With the right leader, this class has the potential to be a wonderful experience for both kids and parents!

My daughter has been attending cave classes for 2 years now, and recently had her 5th birthday party there as well. I highly recommend both! The staff is courteous to the parents, makes the experience fun for the kids, and seems to have a great grasp on varying energy levels and personalities.

As a mom or 2 and a 3rd due in the next few weeks, I was so relieved to be able to be hands off during the recent party and everyone had a GREAT time.

For the second time, I have attended several sessions of adult gymnastics classes while in town visiting family. I cannot say enough how much I love The Cave. Coaches Roger, Sean, and Russ are all extremely knowledgeable and professional. They give everyone the opportunity to work on whatever skills they want, spotting and looking out for the safety of all. They give enough time to strength, stretching, and basic skills, which is not always the case in adult classes. I wish I was in town more often so I could come to the adult classes at The Cave! Thank you, Coaches!

We have been going to the Cave with our kids for 8 years now, starting with Coach Amanda when my oldest was 1.5 years old! In additional to running a stellar gymnastics program for kids, the coaches and staff at the Cave are incredibly friendly and kind. Coach Amanda has coached our daughter on and off for almost 8 years and we couldn't be happier with the role has she played for her as a gymnast and athlete. I really do believe that it is thanks to Coach Amanda that our daughter has been inspired to join the gymnastics team and is as passionate about the sport as she is. Coach Amanda inspires our daughter to work as hard as she can to reach her personal best, and is an incredible role model.
Once on the team, we had the amazing opportunity to also meet Coach Emily, an equally stellar coach who provides our daughter with regular feedback, support, and knowledge of the sport itself. Coach Emily is an incredible cheerleader for the gymnasts, while also challenging them to achieve outside of their comfort zones in such an inspiring way. She also works individually with our daughter to ensure that she feels comfortable and confident before every competition.
The Coach Emily/Coach Amanda power team can't be beat! We are so grateful to have their guidance!

Have been going here for several years for adult gymnastics and recommend it highly! Coaches Roger and Russ are both extremely knowledgeable and experienced at working with all skill levels, and the class is one of the few that really guides adults through skill development rather than just being an open gym for former competitive gymnasts. On top of that, the gym has a very positive atmosphere--everyone is encouraged to get better and challenge themselves, no one is made to feel bad about where they're starting from or pushed to do anything unsafe, coaches pay attention to every individual and how to help them. If you have always wanted to learn gymnastics, or want to relearn skills you had before, this is a great place to go.

Fantastic place! We started with gymnastics about 7 years ago and over the last several my kids have moved to parkour - every step has been a great experience! The coaches are incredible and teach more than gymnastics or parkour - they embody respect for self and others. Plus, the kids have a ton fun! And, all the staff at the Cave are very helpful, patient and super customer focused - couldn’t appreciate them more! Their Covid protocols have been in lock step with the county and then some. We are so lucky to have such an outstanding place in Marin!

The Cave brings tremendous joy to my two daughters lives. The Cave care about their gymnasts, takes their time to get to know them & makes recommendations on how to progress at an individual level. Coach Russell gets 5*, he brings expertise knowledge, and laughter while still focusing on the strength & progress of gymnastics. You can tell he has a passion for what he does & he is very good at teaching the children the core elements of gymnastics in a safe & loving way. I can't recommend him enough!
