I brought my car in for a routine service recall and opted to have an oil change performed simultaneously. Upon receiving my vehicle, I discovered that the hood strut was damaged, and after returning home, I noticed oil leaking from the oil plug, which had not been properly tightened. I have included photographs for reference. The oil leak resulted in a puddle forming on my skid plates and driveway.

For two days, I attempted to contact my service advisor, Eddie Gonzalez, via text and left multiple messages but received no response. Eventually, when I did hear back from Kristin Jones and she had no idea what was going on, I requested a refund for the service, as I was uncertain about the extent of the oil leak. My request was denied, and I was asked to return to the dealership without any acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Given the negligence, damage, and poor service I had already experienced, I felt uncomfortable bringing my car back to them.

As a Ford owner with two vehicles, I had hoped for better service from my nearest dealership, Star Ford Lincoln. What should have been a straightforward service recall and oil change turned into a frustrating ordeal and a significant financial burden. The service was subpar. Numerous other reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau reflect similar experiences, so I advise others to steer clear of this establishment. What began as a simple $100 service escalated to a $130 replacement for the hood strut, a $100 oil change, an additional $100 oil change, hours spent cleaning up oil from my driveway and skid plates, and countless hours trying to resolve the issues. I have yet to receive resolution, refund or reimbursement for any of these expenses. I recommend reading the reviews before considering a visit to Star Ford.

The staff of Star Ford Service are the best! From the time I got there till my Explorer was ready. First time being there and no complaints whatsoever. As soon as I got there I was greeted by some really happy and smiling workers. At 7AM…not most people I’ve come across are as nice as they were. They took really good care of my Explorer and I’m very happy with the service they provided. Keep up the good work guys!

Christian A., my service advisor, was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in good hands. Despite the stress of my car troubles, Christian helped me with his expert knowledge and insight to find the best available options. He was kind, accommodating, and would regularly communicate via text updates throughout the 2-week process of having my car examined and worked on. Give this man a raise, he is a huge reason I will be returning to Star Ford in the future.

Great service! Clean facility and very nice staff. Christian, our service advisor, was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They resolved our cars issue in a timely manner and were very organized. I appreciate this location very much. I will definitely be there again for anything regarding our vehicle in the future!

Star ford service was amazing didn’t have problem, first time did service with them , courteous, kind, respectful and understanding people Nicole was my advisor very patient she explained before hand what work will be done and keeping me posted on the status of my car. She delivered my vehicle as promised and advised me to let her know if I have any problem. She even texted on a Sunday to follow up and
ensure everything is good. Thank you Star Ford for a pleasant experience.

I appreciate the hassle free experience when taking my car in for service. My service advisor at Star Lincoln Ford was very friendly, accommodating and made me feel my car was in good hands. I was always notified with an update regarding my car’s service.and at the end when service was completed, I was a very satisfied customer.
