Walked in very easy kiosk check in,sat down and airconditioned waiting area and within 10mins my number was called.... very nice and fast... i see so many negative reviews im sure they are right, but in Alhambra there are 2 locations the old office on Garfield ave, and the 2nd location is on Main st. My review is for the Main st office

My parents came in to ask questions about my sister, my dad was helping my mother translate, but that social worker wanted my non spoken english mother to talk, like OMG let my dad talk he's there to help my mom translate it's so stupid, please hire better workers.

This is probably the worst office in all California. Employees talk to you in a condescending way. No patience or professionalism. "Just gave you the information" "and that is it" . How do they handle elderly recipients if they don't have the intelligence to handle the job. Not even asking them about a specific case but how the complicated process works. Lack of leadership.

This is the most incompetent, lazy, rude, social security office/government employees that I have ever had to deal with. The ugly security officer also racial profiles and asks what city do you live in. Social Security offices in any city are open to any one. I was also told to call to make an appointment to get a social security card. It’s an emergency. They lied and told me I could make an appointment, the person who answered the phone didnt even attempt to make an appointment for me, I was polite until they push you with their ghetto and trashy demeanor and send you to a voicemail. They hang up in you. This makes me honestly depressed that the government hires trash to run a social security office.

Very respectful & knowledgeable! Spoke to Portillo, he was very helpful! It was easy in & out. The security person was very friendly & polite!
