Andrea is an amazing trainer! My partner and I needed help in training our golden retriever puppy and are so glad we reached out to Skilled Mutts. We did a 6 week training session and are truly pleased in the difference we see in our dog, Maple. Andrea was very patient and thorough with both Maple and us in our weekly lessons. We loved how she would record sessions on our phones and send a follow-up email at the end of each session so we could look back to see what we needed to work on. Andrea is the most patient and professional dog trainer ever. We have a fiesty, little corgi and Andrea worked with us for 6 weeks to correct unwanted behaviors. She equipped us with the proper tools and techniques each step of the process. I also appreciated Andrea’s honesty and evaluation of our dog (who is quite independent and stubborn) and taught us how to work with our dog. Amazing!

We have two mini Australian Labradoodles. Andrea came into our pack's life as our son was born to help us with behavioral training with both our pups. First, she worked with me and my parents to help Butter be a great therapy dog. She helped my parents with activities they could do with Butter to enjoy his company. Next, she came to our house for more private lessons to help me reconnect and strengthen the bond with Mochi and also helped improve and strengthen my training skills. Upon initial consult, Andrea listened, observed and understood where she was meeting us in existing relationship and training skills with our pups. Then, she thoughtfully customized a training plan to support our pack's needs. Andrea is a exceptionally seasoned, patient trainer and helped us all improve how we bond and enjoy each other (ex: commands such as sit/stay, helping us walk with the pups amidst distraction, improve their behavior when they receive visitors in the house, how to handle all levels of distractions). Regularly Andrea met us prepared to coach and also listen to our needs at every session. We received regular notes and homework after each lesson. She's super organized and action / solutions oriented and cares about her clients both pawrents and pups! We will reach out to her again if anything new comes up. She's a gem of a trainer! So grateful! We loved our experience with Andrea!

I needed help with my dog that was reacting poorly to my 2 year old daughter. Dog was being aggressive towards her when she was making a lot of noise or near his space on the couch. He was well trained early as a puppy but needed a specialist in order to get him to get along with my daughter.

The at home training Andrea did worked wonders with our Dog!
Our dog and daughter now can be in the same room without us stressing. Life at home is so much better!

She recorded portions of our training sessions and gave us detailed homework via email that we could do on our own. Each exercise had a precise purpose and there were clear levels in order to raise the difficulty. We saw improvements in all the exercises that she did with our dog.

Would highly recommend Skilled Mutts to anyone that needs their dog behavior to be improved! Andrea is very professional and her attention to detail exceeded my expectations.
