Where to even begin- Mega is an absolute incredible speech therapist and person. Our daughter worked with her during a two year period of time and made tremendous progress in her speech. When we started, our daughter was essentially non verbal… fast forward 2 years later and she is nearly caught up in her expressive language as a 5.5 year old. She also enjoyed attending the sessions and looked forward to her time ‘playing’ with Mega each week. The only reason we even stopped working with her is due to my daughter’s scheduling constraints. Cannot recommend her enough- She is fabulous.

The speech therapists, especially Mega Boise, are incredibly skilled and go above and beyond, especially when it comes to coaxing young, easily distracted toddlers to develop their speech skills. Like the previous reviewer said, this place is amazing. The staff is highly trained in what they do. They really put in SO MUCH EFFORT in planning for the individual needs of their clients. We have been with 7 bridges since September 2019. We started out in-person before Covid and were able to continue with tele-therapy since the shelter-in-place began. My son has made GREAT progress with Mega. As my son grew older, it was apparent that he needed more services in addition to speech therapy. Although it wasn’t a surprise that more help was needed, it was VERY new territory for me. Mega is such a wealth of knowledge and so kind and patient in helping me understand the different resources out there. We also moved since we started with Mega, and she’s often reached out to other colleagues that are closer to us for more insight to other services closer to our area. She genuinely is a caring person who wants what’s best for my son. As we all navigated through the pandemic, Mega has also been able to work miracles with our changing schedules several times. If you needed her to move a mountain, I bet she could do that too. WE. LOVE. MEGA. She’s so above and beyond what we’d ever hope for!

We are beyond grateful for the incredible care and support Mega Boise provided to our son during his speech therapy journey. She was the first therapist we had sessions with after learning of his challenges, and from the very beginning, her warmth, expertise, and playfulness made brightened up our lives. She captivated his interest immediately, drawing him into learning in a way that felt natural and engaging. Within a few months after starting sessions, he was saying his first words—something we had been longing to hear. He absolutely loved his sessions with "Meega" (as he used to call her), and we were truly sad when our sessions had to come to an end.

One of the things that make Mega so exceptional as a therapist is her ability to creatively problem-solve. She was always gathering data from us as parents, trying different techniques, and adapting her approach based on what worked best for our son. No matter what challenges arose, she remained patient and never used a punitive tone. Instead, she met him with kindness, encouragement, and an unwavering belief in his potential. She was always willing to collaborate with other professionals involved in his care, ensuring continuity of care and incorporating strategies across different areas of development. Even though our son was officially discharged, she made it clear that we could always come back to her with any concerns.

Mega took care of our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives—when our son wasn’t yet saying any words. Now, he’s a talkative little guy with so much to say and share, and we owe so much of that to her. More than just a therapist, she was an emotional support for us, always lifting us up and reminding us of the things we were doing right. She gave us meaningful "homework" that not only encouraged our son to use words but also strengthened our parent-child bond. From day one, we as parents were always invited to attend his sessions, allowing us to learn alongside him, feel empowered in his progress, and regain some of the hope we had lost.

We trusted her immensely—so much so that she became the standard against which we judged all of his other therapists. It was just so clear how much she truly cared for him, beyond just as a client. She was genuinely invested in his success, and as parents of children with developmental delays know well, it is so important to surround ourselves with people who buoy us up.

If you are looking for a speech therapist who is not only skilled and knowledgeable (with almost 20 years of experience!) but also deeply compassionate and invested in her clients, we cannot recommend Mega Boise enough. She is simply the best, and we feel so blessed to have had her on our journey.
