Lovely views, lots of oaks 🙂 Saw deer, quails, cows, and red-winged blackbirds. On the way up, there were halos and sundogs in the sky, which were very cool.

Went for a barn dance and it was amazing. Great scenic views of the estate. Cute donkeys. And the house that was built to be energy efficient is fascinating.

It's a great experience to say that you got to do it because of us exclusivity. Is there a lot to see? No. Is it hot and dry and mostly uncovered? Definitely yes. But at least it's something that you can say that you did and they do have a mission somewhere in there. They are tied to UCSB so there's lots of pretty cool research going on not that they will tell you about it. And the people who actually work there will definitely remind you that they work at the coolest location because apparently they've never worked anywhere else and this place is their entire personality.
