I cannot rave enough about San Ynez pet hospital.
My Doberman pincher six month old puppy, Mabel had a love spay yesterday. The staff were amazing and Doctor Sarkisian was relaxed and professional. I knew Mabel was going to get terrific care. Less than 24 hours later, she’s bouncing off the wall ready to play, The incision is minuscule with no follow up visit. Eight years ago, I had my other Doberman Love spayed in LA. Very impersonal, I felt just like another number. Three cheers to San Ynez Pet hospital.

Santa Ynez Pet Hospital is as good as it gets! Locally owned for decades, it still has a very hometown feel, which is poorly lacking in the corporate pet hospitals of today. We love all the doctors, and the support staff are like family. Our pets have received the best care at SYPH, and we just couldn't be happier with the entire team.

Great doctors and staff saved my dog. I’m so thankful that they were there for an emergency

They are very busy however and I had an experience that made me realize that they didn’t even remember my pet or look at her chart when I can back for a swollen paw. I also had problems ordering a medication crucial to my pet and she almost went dangerously without. The last visit the vet said she thought she recognized my dog AFTER her appointment as I explained her recent emergency at that same clinic. I think that her file could have been reviewed.

I would have made the drive if I felt I had personal service but was not thrilled with follow up care or personal service

Dr Dean and staff are awesome! I started bringing my furry babies to Santa Ynez Pet Hospital two years ago and they always treat me like family. I recently brought my 15yo cat Bella in because she stopped eating. Turned out she was suffering from kidney disease and was very critical. She had to stay in their intensive care unit overnight. I credit Dr. Dean and staff with saving my precious Bella. Anytime I have an issue, they get me right in. They really care and it shows. I would recommend this place to any pet owner.
