Ive been an avid outdoorsman and hunter since I was a kid. Ive been around firearms most of my life but have never taken a real firearms training course.

As a beginner, Santa Clarita Gun Training is an excellent way to learn proper gun safety, handling and shooting. Instructor Jimmy Kang is very knowledgeable and an expert in this field. His classes are very educational and enjoyable at the same time. I have taken a few of his classes and plan to take many more. Great instructor and met some great people. I recommend 100%. Santa Clarita Gun Training is by far the best place in LA for beginners to start learning tactical shooting. The instructor Jimmy Kang is former LAPD officer who has extensive experience from the rock bottom fundamentals to any tactical situation and will surely guide you to go through the correct, fast and promising way to learn and practice about shooting. I highly recommend this place for any one who want to learn tactical shooting. AAA+++

This is the type of training that I was looking for! This was not a standing still shooting at paper targets type of training. The instructor, Jimmy, was hands on and very knowledgeable with skills, tactics, and safety. I have improved tremendously with the training that I have been receiving. Well worth every penny spent for these classes. The classes are small, so you get a lot of personal attention. "You are responsible for every round that leaves your firearm." I took a handgun safety course and training with instructor Jimmy Kang. I’ve shot weapons for many years, but had never taken any courses until now. I feel this class really help me get better knowledge of the things that I thought I knew and actually I’m really pleased to have learned so much more. I would definitely recommend it to anybody just starting out or anybody who has also shot for many years.
