My son needed to switch schools in the district. I went to the enrollment center and they told me to wait until the new school contracts me. That was Friday. Monday, no one contacted. Tuesday, because I didn't hear from anyone until 3pm I decided to contact the new school. I got a voice machine so I left a message. I called the current school, then the registrar was surprised to hear that no one had contacted me by now. She said she was going to contact the new school for me. Soon after that, I got a phone call from the new school and was told I had to check my son out first from the current school before the new school could do anything. So the registrar of the current school which I spoke earlier should have reached me to start the process. But the enrollment center didn't know the process, the registrar didn't know the process. Everyone was waiting for someone to do something and that's why nothing happened for 2 days. Don't they do this every year? How come their communication is so broken What if I had waited longer as I was told? It's so frustrating when people don't know what they are supposed to do. I hope everything goes smoothly after today.

The district just say they will take action about jose zamora but in reality everyone knew and teachers and they didn't do mandate report and they stop funding the football team

if I could give zero stars, I would. To put my experience with the Santa Clara unified school district into few words will be nearly impossible, but one word stands out in my mind. It was an absolute nightmare. I have never in my life thought that this school district has done something right. It destroyed me, from the time I was 5 years old until I left at 15. I am now 20 and still suffer from crippling anxiety from this place. They hounded my family, forced me and threatened me out of my home, promised me I'd lose my family, that I would never become anything. But I did. I graduated high school, not under their name of course, and I'm a published author, no thanks to them. I will never be the same, I will forever be traumatized by this school district. I've hardly touched the surface, but let me leave you with this, do you want your child to grow up in fear and never know a carefree life because of their school? if so, this is the school district for you. But if I were you I'd do some serious thinking before even coming within ten feet of this school district. They are backwards and have no respect for children with mental health issues. I'm warning you, this could very well be the end of your child's happiness. Adults are bullies too.

so annoyed. i email the school district to see if they would be open for me to swap my daughter's chrome book. They email me back with the address for the swap. as i get here today with it, the lady in the room told me they aren't accepting laptops this week because of spring break. Well!!! that's why i emailed them prior. if they weren't going to swap it out, why email me with the address.
