My 8 mo. old German Shepherd/Doberman mix completed the 3 week board and train with Anthony at PowerHouseK9. He struggled with walking on a leash, jumped up on people, and didn't know more than one command when we dropped him off. Upon pick up, he was so much calmer and walking on the leash much better. He can follow most of the simple commands and his jumps are rarer and now easy to control. A bonus for me was Anthony training him to jump into the car! He has never willing gotten into the car before, so this was a huge surprise. You should know that Anthony is a no-nonsense, very straightforward kind of guy. He will tell you exactly how it is and knows how to train. He'll show you how to keep up with what your dog has learned, and also how to continue teaching your dog new things. Also a special shoutout to Lisa because she responded so quickly and professionally to every question I had and email I sent!

Anthony trained our 11 month old English Labrador, Charlie to Heel when on the leash and sit when we stop walking.This was an amazing accomplishment. He also trained him to stay, but we have not been as diligent with the continuation of training at home on that command, but knowing that Charlie has already demonstrated this command, we will work on it. We so appreciate the knowledge that Anthony has shared that will get us through this phase of our Labs "terrible twos" stage.

Anthony was amazing really detailed in explaining the training. He was willing to go to different locations and environments to demonstrate our dog’s progression. He also does boarding when you need someone to watch your family member while on vacation. Definitely going back, our dog loves him!

We brought our 5 year old golden retriever Archie to Anthony for basic obedience/issues with food. We have a new baby at home who is starting solids and Archie was quickly starting to scare us with his attempts to steal food out of the babies hands. He would not listen to us whatsoever if any food was present. After 3 weeks at Anthony’s board and train boot camp, we have a completely different dog! We are currently eating dinner while he stays about 2 feet away from us on his bed not moving an inch. He listens when we call him, walks by our side, and isn’t a complete maniac when food is around. We are so happy!y

We had booked with Anthony for a week of doggy boot camp for our chihuahua, although our dog was a tough dog to deal with at home he was able to work with him and showed outstanding results with our dog even with only having him for 1 week!! He proceeded to show us what to do in situations and how to solve some problems that we had. He was very detailed about everything and very straight up with us. He even went out his way to take us to spots and show us the work he was doing. You can really tell he takes his job very seriously. At the end of it all he even threw us some merch on the house! Amazing customer service and you can’t beat the price! Recommend 10/10

Working with Anthony and Powerhouse K9 has been a pleasure! I love his no-nonsense or fluff approach to training. I boarded him for the 3 week training and it truly gave my dog the important foundational training. He always gave timely and transparent updates so I was able to know my dog’s progress. Walking my dog used to be a whole ordeal and no there’s essentially no fuss on our walks. Really appreciate his honest approach to training and I highly recommend!

Wally, our 8 month German shepherd puppy, attended Anthony's 3 week Board and Train Program. We highly recommend Anthony- not only did he take excellent care of Wally, but Wally came back with more confidence and is walking on leash so much better! He is still the same happy go lucky guy otherwise! We have to make sure that we stay on top of our training as pet parents, and Anthony has offered to work with us again if we struggle with anything.

We had been dealing with some on and off diarrhea, and Wally had diarrhea while with Anthony. Not only did Anthony inform us right away, but he changed his diet and recommended a different dog food which has worked wonders! He stayed in touch with us throughout all of this.

To be completely transparent, we were very nervous dropping Wally off and this was a very hard decision for us as it was Wally's first time away from home and he does have some anxiety- your dog will be in good hands with Anthony. We definitely made the right decision! Thank you Anthony! We cannot recommend him enough!
