Had the first class with Chelsea and that was the most disappointing experience. The instructor just sat there and call the instructions without caring any student. I don’t see any interest for teaching from her. But I decided to try with other instructors and they are nice and amazing.

Very inflexible with the policy for free trial of the introductory class. I attempted to create account and sign up for the free intro class a few times, but life circumstances didn't work out and I had to cancel them but always on-time. Now I'm ready to try again and they keep marking the free pass expired without explaining what the problem is until I called to clarify. Even then they remained inflexible. I'll take my money elsewhere. My advice: Pilates is not cheap and if your customer is trying to see if that's something they want to pay for on an ongoing basis, work with them instead of against them.

I'm so pleased about the new Pilates V studio in San Mateo! The facility is spotless, and the equipment state of the art! All the teachers are well trained and care about your enjoyment of their classes, success and safety. If you let them know you have a past injury or a weakness, they will give you alternative positions...but not to worry, you don't have to tell them, they always ask. All the teachers are friendly and get you to think about the "mind/body connection." I love their intro pricing, and I'm making the most of the unlimited monthly package. I've been building up my strength after not getting to the gym for awhile, and even though I've only taken the beginner classes, I find that we are using all of the equipment and it's challenging. The Pilates V style is a great workout,
and with so many variations, you won't get bored. I love the Barre class, too! Their website and class registration is easy! You just need 12 hours to cancel a class, and they don't require contracts to get great pricing!

Fantastic studio!! Super clean and extremely knowledgeable staff. Plenty of classes so fits my schedule. Classes are small enough that the instructors can adjust you. Also they are very tech savvy as all activities (sign in track classes) are all via app so it makes it so easy. Thank you for opening up the San Mateo location and helping me get healthier!!

I’ve been wanting to try Pilates for the longest time but I was intimidated by it and the equipments as well. But after attending my first class I totally have loved it. Instructors are very nice and helpful. Equipments are new and clean all the time. It’s not intimidating at all. I will definitely continue attending my classes here.

I am really enjoying my new adventure into the world of Pilates and Pilates V has been an incredible experience. The intro class got me hooked. The facility is beautiful with plenty of parking. So far Sallie has been my favorite instructor. She always makes sure I am doing the exercise correctly, reminds me to slow down and breathe. The 'web' team is also very easy to communicate with too. Part of me is sad that Pilates V will not be hidden gem much longer.

Love this place. Purchased the intro package (6 classes for $59) and was very impressed upon my first visit. The San Mateo facility is very clean, has high end equipment, and great instructors. I really like the high number of classes they offer a week....which works well with my busy schedule.

Love this studio - classes are great - hoping they add more to San Mateo as I would go every day! Instructors are motivating and provide great instruction/guidance. I could barely hold a plank three weeks ago and today made it through all the abs work without stopping! Highly recommend 🙂
