I attended a one day pistol carbine operator training with Matt. It was a top-quality training. I was able to practice my skills and learn a few new tricks of the trade. This was a very enjoyable experience and right up there with some of the best trainings I've attended. I look forward to taking another class with OpTempo whenever the opportunity arises.

Last Saturday, we had our first training session with Matt. He was very professional and informative and we both left the training session with much more confidence in handling our firearms. Matt's instruction was thorough and his attention to detail and our safety was outstanding. We are excited and look forward to more sessions and furthering our education with OPTEMPO! I highly recommend OPTEMPO to anyone who is new to firearms and who wants to gain confidence in handling their gun.

I attended the ballistic shield class late in June. The material was on target for the challenges we face today. I wished I had the opportunity to attend a full day shield class earlier in my career. I have a a shield in my patrol car for decades and I have received only limited training. This class prepared me to use my shield and it has given me tactical options that I had not previously practiced. I plan to have all of our patrol staff take this class as staffing allows. In the mean time I will set up in-house training so my department will have the basics. Thank you OpTempo!

I attended the Pistol Foundations Course yesterday. Ben and Chris did a phenomenal job. I’ve sat through a ton of military and law enforcement classes back in the day (6 years in the Marines and 2 years as a cop--a long time ago) and Ben especially is a fantastic instructor. He has a really great demeanor and exuded confidence and patience. Content and programming was also perfect for your audience, which included folks who have never handled a weapon before. It was also a great course for me because it has been so long. Rehashing the basic fundamentals for me was great because there are always at least a few nuggets that I can pull out and learn from.

I chose your program over the others that I found on Yelp because you guys are clearly the real deal—and it didn’t disappoint. Keep it up and looking forward to doing more courses with your group.

Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better course. By the end of the day I felt confident that I could safely and effectively clear and use almost any kind of pistol. The instructors were friendly and highly encouraging to everyone in the class. They also made sure to give individual attention to improve and develop each student’s technique for the best results.
