If you are looking for a Border Collie, I am positive that your new best friend is here. I can't say enough great things about this rescue! From the beginning, I was so impressed with how accurately and thoroughly they described their dogs and how they worked so hard to make the best match for both the dogs and the humans. Everyone I interacted with at the rescue was so compassionate and transparent. We couldn't have had a better adoption experience.

We adopted Birdie (formerly Lily Langtry) about a year ago and she is the loveliest and goofiest dog we've ever known. I do non-competitive canicross, disc, and dock diving with her, and we have so much fun together! She is also so cuddly and affectionate. She has truly become my heart dog. I am often asked which breeder I got her from, and I'm always so proud to point people towards NCBCRA!

I couldn't be happier with my decision to adopt Maggie, my 10-month-old Border Collie, from Northern California Border Collies. It's only been a week and a half, but we're already inseparable. She's my constant companion, and we’ve bonded incredibly.
I wholeheartedly recommend giving a rescue dog a chance. These amazing animals deserve loving homes. The foster families do an incredible job preparing them for their forever families.

I am a huge fan!

I adopted my Border Collie from Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions in March of 2019. They were professional, friendly and affordable. NCBCRA took excellent care of my dog when they rescued him from a shelter, including veterinary care and grooming. They make a serious effort to pair the right dogs with the right owners.
