I enrolled my 8-year-old daughter at National Taekwondo Academy just over 6 months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
The classes are structured yet fun, and the masters/instructors are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They ensure the kids are using the right form and techniques, and are diligent in correcting any mistakes in a way that builds their confidence, not breaks it. The emphasis on discipline and respect is clear in every session and extends from the studio to home. My daughter LOVES attending class, and we could not be happier to be part of this amazing community.

Our son has been with NTA for two years. We found this through a friend from his preschool and invited us over to check it out. I had been looking for a tkd school or dojang at that time and this location is perfect. We took the introductory class and immediately signed him up after the trial sessions. Since then, our son always look forward to his classes.

Some days he would be a little tired from school so I let him take a day off but we always sign him up for makeup classes every Friday. Their schedules are flexible so this school is perfect especially for those who have commitments after school or multiple sports/extra curricular. It is also easy to reserve and cancel their classes because you can do it in the Zen app. One more that I like is that they regularly send reminders to their students via email to make sure no deadlines are missed.

What we love most are the teachers and assistants. They are very professional and very caring to their students. My son struggles at some parts of their lessons, but the teachers (master instructors and their assistants) always step in and teach them when they need attention and help. Some classes are big, but they make sure all students learn the lessons for the day. The students come from all backgrounds, different ages and different levels of abilities but they are treated equally and respectfully.

This school also instill discipline in school and at home through their home rules. These are included in their character evaluation every promotion and I can say my son does well in this aspect.

I wanted to add that their front desk ladies are amazing. I am more amazed because they know all the names of the kids in this school! They are very hospitable and approachable too.

My son is a few belts away from black belt and he is motivated to achieve that goal at a young age.

Thank you so much, NTA! Big thanks too to Master Park and Master Vanessa for continuously supporting these kids goals in this sport. We are happy to be part of this school and will be continuing for more years so come.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about National Taekwondo Academy and their incredible team. Master Vanessa and Master Park as well as Miss Cassidy and Miss Sabrina and Mr. Armond, their front desk team-all of them are professional, fun, confidence building and simply the best! All three of my daughters take classes here-my oldest two have taken classes since they were each 4yrs old-my oldest is now testing for her black belt in December and my youngest just started (she is now 4). NTA is a second family and we feel so grateful for them. Master Vanessa has been and continues to be an incredible role model for my girls and is an excellent instructor-patient, kind, warm-yet disciplined. Thank you for these past 4 years-we look forward to many more years ahead! ❤️❤️❤️

National Taekwondo Academy has been a fun and enriching experience for my 11 year old twin daughters who are now green belts. They enjoy attending both group classes and private lessons and feel proud of all that they are achieving at NTA. All the instructors are top-notch and passionate about teaching Taekwondo. My girls have worked with all of the instructors. Each has played a role in helping my girls make tremendous strides in their confidence, focus, strength, agility and flexibility. They have learned to strong basics as well as effective self defense techniques. I am amazed that classes are always different; never repetitive or boring. Students receive a lot of individual attention because there are always several instructors per class (keeping the instructor to student ratio high). What’s more, the staff and instructors are down to earth, respectful and kind. An added bonus is that the school is always clean and well maintained. As a martial artist with nearly 40 years of experience myself, I appreciate the quality and integrity of this school. I highly recommend this school for children and adults .

I have been attending the adult classes at NTA for about 5 weeks now and it has been nothing but the BEST experience. As someone with no previous martial arts experience, I was wanting to learn some self defense and explore a new activity, and this studio has been the perfect fit. Master Park is extremely professional, hands-on, and really invests in his students. All the instructors, including Master Kim, Master Vanessa, and all the assistants, are well trained in not only the art, but teaching too. I leave class every week feeling accomplished and like I learned something new. Not to mention, the studio is always clean and the front desk ladies, Lucinda and Angie, are so welcoming and kind! If you’re looking for a studio, this is the place to go!

After having moved to the US a couple of years ago, I was looking for a taekwondo studio to continue practicing modern style taekwondo. I'm beyond happy and grateful to have found National Taekwondo Academy (NTA)! Master Park, Master Vanessa, Master Kim and the entire team are truly wonderful and every single class is so much fun. I greatly appreciate the friendly, kind and respectful atmosphere NTA has created. Moreover, I love that training covers all aspects of taekwondo, from forms, sparring, technique, self-defense, board breaking, to endurance workout, stretching and self-discipline. If you are looking for a place to learn or continue practicing taekwondo, I highly recommend NTA.

Testing this out because National Taekwondo had my recent review removed & hoping this sticks to help future parents. We demoed a class here & we’re appalled at how the instructor treated our children. It was our first time, so obviously there was much to learn, but they were spoken down to in such a condescending manner. When working with young kids in the 4-6 range, a studio should offer a fun & compassionate form of teaching & building confidence. My kids left in tears. We have since tried another studio & found it to be a night & day experience. I know everyone has off days & perhaps the instructor was in a bad mood, but now I’m a bit weary how honest they are knowing they removed my previous review. Hope this helps any other parents in choosing a positive spot for your child to thrive!

My kids ages 8 and 10 have been in Taekwondo for 3 years now, testing for black belts next weekend. This studio is amazing! Master Park and Master Kim and all the instructors and staff are very supportive and encouraging. The classes are so well organized and fun. My kids have gained a ton of confidence over the years and are really enjoying their time there. The instructors are energetic, patient, and really go above and beyond to make sure that none of the kids are left behind. We love this place and highly recommend!
