When we were first referred for services here our experience was great. The supervisor assigned to us was wonderful! PROFESSIONAL, FLEXIBLE, INFORMATIVE AND UNDERSTANDING. Then she quit! We were assigned to another supervisor who was still in training or was just..new. We were in a "team" but were only visited by one interventionist. I didn't have the best experience with him, he was the THIRD interventionist who would pull my son by his limbs every time he would bolt. I had to complain not once, twice, but THREE TIMES about the same problem with three different interventionists. And once I did get a response from the supervisor her answer to me was that there were no other interventionists available to work with my son and when I requested to be placed in a different team I was told there was a wait list. So basically "No you can't refuse this interventionist and if you want to leave this team you will be placed on a wait list and not receive services until then". I'm stuck with an interventionist who I don't feel comfortable working with my son and seeing my son's progress only fall. If you absolutely need ABA services, I would leave Motiva towards the end of your list.
