I loved this place when l lived in Montecito in the 90's. I well & truly got my money's worth out of the pool . The staff were great Jon & Kym , Toby , Mora , Colleen. I got involved & volunteered in many events . Happy memories

Montecito YMCA is a very welcoming community, especially for people new to fitness. I just started my fitness journey there, and the staff were inviting and encouraging during every visit. I've started swimming there, and the lifeguards were friendly and attentive. I was a little discouraged with my fitness journey after exhausting myself with a few laps across the pool, but the lifeguard on duty encouraged me and reminded me that everyone goes at their own pace. It's about the journey not the performance 🙂

I visited this YMCA from out of town. Our family loved it!!!

The staff from the front desk to the lifeguards were personable, knowledgeable and most welcoming. The best YMCA staff I've encountered!

The facilities ooze a retro coolness from the covered outdoor workout areas that include ample free weights, various machines, stairclimbers, and other other aerobic equipment.

The locker rooms sport a toasty modest sauna and the outdoor pool was inviting with a 102F (today) outdoor hottub.

Actually Hot Tub Time Machine is an apt movie analogy for this fantastic YMCA. We'll be coming back! Good Times to be had!

They go beyond the beyond to live up to hospitality. Don't know all the names but John (membership) who makes everyone feel like an ole friend, Ben who makes it happen, Mauricio in his break there to help. At the pool Duane always with a howdy and an ever watchful eye And Anna and the front desk YES Thanks all for your warm welcome. The facility and offering speak for themselves.

Love the cito YMCA. I’ve been working out here for years. Great staff! Small gym vibe which has everything thing you need. Outdoor pool with good hours also a plus.

The staff are very friendly and good atmosphere gym. There is a child care room with very kindly staff, and their personal trainers are super helpful. They offer many great classes with great instructors. My favorites are yoga and totally body conditioning. I highly recommend this gym for all ages.

While I have visited many YMCA's, this location stands out in particular because of the sense of community that is created. The gym is never overcrowded and the staff make an effort to build a personal relationship with each member. This is a great place for people of all fitness levels - members have access to group exercises classes for all levels, three free personal training sessions, affordable child care, and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
