Rachel immediately me feel heard and validated. She also gave me various perspectives to think about which was refreshing. It was like talking to my best friend because she’s so genuine and truly cares about her patients.

The office itself is so inviting, cozy, and non pretentious. I was immediately at ease and it felt very “safe”.

I really recommend Rachel and her staff to others. They love what they do and it shows.

I made a review about a month ago about McDermott Counseling and gave it one star when. In fact, i shouldnt have, i went to them and Rachel based on their reviews and the five and four stars are well deserved and i hope anyone else needing counseling does reach out to McDermott I was number one changing my medications and number 2 I made comments about the staff that I probably shouldn't have made publicly. They have since reached out to me and as they are therapists. I have talked to Rachel and I'm continuing to go to her on a weekly basis again. And want to say that I love it, and she is a great therapist.
I gone through ups and Downs of my life. And I wanna say when I stopped going there for a month. I didn't go to any therapist. It was noticed both by me and people around me. She makes a big difference and their staff Make a big difference in my life on a daily basis. When I leave that place, I feel great and always have. I apologize to Rachel specifically. And her staff greatly for what Said. I made a comment about her being a friend. More than a therapist, and you know what? That's what works for me. The friend aspect gets me to open up and talk to her. As a therapist, she's a great therapist. And that that's what works for me. I'm able to talk basically. Otherwise I would probably sit there and and be more quiet than I should be, she does it very well. I highly recommend McDermott I highly recommend Rachel and everybody her staff is professional. They did reach out to me after my last comment. They have helped me greatly through what I felt. Was it right and for that alone? They deserve 5 stars most places, most people wouldn't have. Rachel was always so kind and accommodating. She does EMDR as well. I feel overwhelmingly comfortable talking with her. It is like talking to your best friend who is very knowledgeable and compassionate and professional. I would recommend anyone to her. My children see another therapist in her office and I was surprised how much she has helped. Christina has made a behavior support plan for my 6 year old and has been increasingly helpful the more I adhere to it.
