Volunteers are very helpful! I could find no documentation that my Grandmother entered the country. The volunteer found it in seemingly seconds! Also, I knew I had a great uncle who went to Canada but maybe I was looking in the wrong area (Montreal). The volunteer found his gravestone picture, near Toronto! I have other needs such as repairing my family tree on Ancestry.Com to move people who appear on several generational levels. Merging doesn't work. The instructions seem strange. So I'll be asking for help.

The meetings, pre-CV19, were informative and often relevant to my continuing work on my family tree, now focused on my Maternal side. Thanks!

L-AGS was the first genealogy society I joined. I hesitated because I don't have any ancestors in this area, but I'm so glad I joined. The meetings feature top-notch speakers and the members and board are filled with great information and help.

The monthly meetings are quite amazing. I learn so much. I can't wait till we get to meet again in Pleasanton & get off of the ZOOM calls.
