I have been a student here for more than a decade and I just have to say that the experience is worth it. Not only do you learn martial arts (and I mean martial arts that actually helps you in a real life situation), but there's also a lot of exercise and the staff is very understanding. This place is more than a school, it is a family with a safe environment where anyone who is interested in martial arts is allowed to grow and flourish.

My child just finished a month trial, and we have just officially signed up for a whole year. I'm excited to join this community for my child to grow in character and to strengthen his body. We hope to stay for years to come!

The customer service has been excellent from the start. There is always someone to answer all of my questions in detail (text, email, phone), which made it easy and seamless for me as a busy mom. Also if we need to make up a class, we can easily make it up the following week. They are flexible, which is definitely something I need.

Inside, there is a small waiting area with comfortable, cushioned benches for caregivers and siblings to watch the class. It's also located in a small strip mall to walk around if my other child becomes restless.

They often have special pricing on trial periods, which is the best way to see if LMAA is right for your family.

I’m thrilled to share my experience with this exceptional martial arts Dojo, Livermore Martial Arts Academy. It has been a game-changer for my daughter’s journey in the martial arts world. After spending seven years at a previous dojo, we made the switch to LMAA two and half years ago, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable.

We purchased a promotion summer package with LMMA over the summer and my 6 year old daughter loved it so much we signed up for the year! This program is wonderful. Not only is she getting exercise, but she is also learning discipline and they reinforce values such as respect at every class. I’ve been training at LMAA since I was 4 years old, and now at 17, and I can truly say that this dojo has shaped who I am today. Not only have I learnt essential self-defense skills, but I’ve also been taught to exercise the values of kindness, discipline, and perseverance, principles that go beyond martial arts and have influenced every aspect of my life.

The lessons I've learnt here since I was a child have molded my character and mindset in ways I never could have imagined when I first started. They are not just exceptional martial artists but also powerful role models who genuinely care about their students. Never in my life have I been surrounded by a more supportive and uplifting environment, making it a perfect place that fosters growth not just as a martial artist, but as a well rounded individual, especially for growing children. I can honestly say LMAA is one of the best places for children to learn discipline, respect, and self-confidence, something you don’t see often in other dojos.

I have been attending for the past ten years and it has not only kept me in good physical health, but also helped me get used to working in groups, and given me the opportunity to both receive and give help. There is a really supportive and friendly environment during the classes, and students are always lifting each other up.

Both my kids are students at Livermore Martial Arts Academy and we are so happy to be there! My 5 year old tried a different program and it was a horrible experience. He was hesitant to try again but the instructors are amazing here and he is absolutely loving it! My daughter was hesitant as well to try and she too LOVES going!
