I have been attending yoga classes here for about 8 months now, and I love it. I tried out quite a few yoga studios in the area, but this one just clicked. The space is beautiful & calming. The location is great and the front desk is always kind and helpful. They offer an amazing variety of classes for all levels of yogis. Their membership rates are very reasonable for OC and they never try to upsell you on anything. They also hold events like yoga workshops and sound baths that I am looking forward to trying in the future! The yoga instructors are all very good, and Chayton in particular is probably the best instructor I have ever taken a class with. Chayton is an awesome teacher, welcoming of his students, provides clear cues and instructions, offers modifications, explains alignment, and his vinyasa flows are fun, energizing, and creative. 10/10 🙂

Review of Eva Kozak's Power Reformer 5:30 PM Sunday Class
I recently had the pleasure of attending Eva Kozak's Power Reformer class at 5:30 PM on a Sunday, and I can't recommend it enough!
Eva is an exceptional instructor who expertly guides you through a challenging yet rewarding workout. As a newcomer to the chair, I especially appreciated her discreet guidance and clear explanations, which quickly brought me up to speed. She also provided excellent instruction on advanced reformer exercises, ensuring everyone felt challenged and supported.
Eva's attention to detail is outstanding. She takes the time to explain the appropriate spring combinations for each exercise and demonstrates proper form, offering helpful corrections along the way. I particularly valued her tips on safely performing pike exercises on the box.
Even with a class size of around 10 people, Eva manages to create a personalized experience. It felt like a semi-private session, with individual attention and modifications offered throughout. The time flew by, filled with effective strength-building exercises targeting the core, biceps, triceps, and legs.
I left the class feeling energized, accomplished, and eager to return. If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding reformer Pilates class, Eva Kozak's Sunday evening session at LiveMetta is an excellent choice!

Review of Mariel’s Flow and Yin Classes at LiveMetta Yoga

Mariel’s Sunday evening flow (5:15 PM) and yin (6:30 PM) yoga classes are a standout for anyone looking to balance strength and relaxation in their practice. Mariel excels in guiding her students through well-explained poses, with plenty of options for prop use and thoughtful modifications to either simplify or advance the poses based on your needs. Her teaching style is clear, supportive, and adaptable, making the classes approachable for all levels.

The studio itself is inviting, with the perfect temperature, calming lighting, and ample space for every participant to feel comfortable. The front desk staff enhances the experience by providing a warm and expert check-in process, complete with an explanation of the differences between yin and yang yoga styles for newcomers. They also go above and beyond, offering helpful assistance with lost and found items.

LiveMetta’s location is another big plus—easy parking and proximity to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s make it convenient to combine your yoga practice with errands.

Overall, Mariel’s classes and the LiveMetta experience provide a perfect mix of expert instruction, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended!

Great heated flow class by Daniel. Easy to follow. Well organized. Thoughtful meditation aspect. Mia does nice check in. Great venue. Easy parking. Lots of fun people to meet and chat with.

Shea’s Reformer Sculpt class was excellent from start to finish. Her teaching style strikes the perfect balance of clarity and encouragement, making the session both effective and enjoyable.

Shea provided helpful tips on adjusting resistance levels and positioning the ring for maximum effectiveness, ensuring everyone could tailor the workout to their needs. Her guidance on proper body positioning was spot-on, helping us maintain form and prevent strain throughout.

The pace of the class was just right—not too fast, not too slow—allowing time to focus on each movement while still keeping the energy up. The use of the ball was particularly helpful, adding variety and intensity to the workout in a way that felt intentional and challenging.

Overall, Shea’s expertise and attention to detail make this a class I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to get the most out of their reformer workouts.

Review of Danielle’s Flow Yoga Class at LiveMetta (6:30 AM, December 31)

Danielle’s flow yoga class was an awesome start to the last day of the year. Her sequence of poses was thoughtfully crafted, making sense both in progression and flow. The pacing was just right—starting slower and then picking up speed for the later repetitions, allowing

LiveMetta Laguna Niguel looks brand new with four studio rooms - two for Yoga and two with Pilates Reformers. The Galaxy room backs up to a courtyard with greenery and the building is next to an art gallery! Plenty of parking and there is an awesome cafe nearby. Today was my first day but I didn't want to leave - clean, beautiful, studios and awesome instructors!

Elissa Strutton is an amazing Roll and Restore instructor. She has a calming voice that puts us at ease at the beginning of class. She make everyone feel welcome. Eliss empowers us to make Roll and Restore our practice, so we can direct our own healing. I am grateful that she has this class twice a week, but I would love to attend more sessions each week.

Cindy is so amazing! She has extensive knowledge in yoga practice; her classes are relaxing, with great mindful quotes, and very helpful in refining my yoga practice. Her yoga classes are real treats to my wellness journey…feel so delicious like she often says in class! I am new to pilate and initially was imitated to those weird looking reformers. I immediately signed up the unlimited membership after joined Cindy’s orientation class. Her pilate classes are clear on instructions, she pays attention to safety in details, and most importantly her classes are so energetic and full of fun with her sense of humor and the choice of music. She was dancing to Bee Gees Staying Alive while cheering us to survive the pushups in class this week ?. I am so grateful to find such awesome instructor for yoga and pilates in one studio!
