I had an issue with billing at Lifestance. I was charged for a missed appointment that wasn't actually missed. I also paid a copay for a video visit where the doctor never showed up.
I had been calling lifestance for 4 months to get this resolved and I would always speak to someone different and not one of the phone reps helped me.
I call for what feels like the millionth time and I get Karina on the phone and I start yelling at her. 4 months of frustration and anxiety to get this resolved, and I took it out on Karina.

Karina was the most empathetic, caring, passionate and understanding person i had the privilege to speak to. She took my anger and fear and met me with compassion and warmth. She talked me down, and she built me up.

I got on that phone in 1 terrible mood and I hung up feeling at peace and happy.

Fast forward to today, Karina not only resolved all my issue where no one else would, she called me to let me know it was taken care of.
I was looking around for other doctors, but not after today. Karina healed the anguish i was experiencing for months over these charges I didn't owe, and I will now be loyal to this company as long as she is there.

Karina will be the reason lifestance keeps any business. I know I can't be the first person she has saved. Karina, thank you. You deserve everything you have ever wanted. You are a muse and a light.

Very disappointed. After several emails to customer service, and billing. No one has responded to be. I kept seeing suspicious charges and kept asking what they were for. I then became afraid because if you don’t pay this suspicious bill in 30 days, they will consistently add on late fees. After no one has replied to be, sadly I paid for the unexplained fees because it racked up to large sum of money. Could be their way of making money. It’s not uncommon for people to tack off unknown fees and charge late fees for the unknown fees. With our Health insurance, we pay a set fee. I’ve never paid that set fee here. Was always more that what I’m supposed to pay. When my daughters therapist cancelled in her, they charged me the cancellation fee. This is unlawful. I sent in a message, again no one has responded. Unless you have an attorney in the family, don’t come here because you will have a headache with unknown charges. I had a credit card on file and it was maxed out due to all these fees. I’m still investigating and so is my credit card company because we demand answers on why I was charged these unknown fees. Without explanation or response. I canceled my daughter here and the unknown fees text’s stopped. Literally, they will give you PTSD. More or less you’re looking for therapy for issues, but they will give you more issues and lack therapy. Don’t do it. The messaging center works just like any health message center, only difference is they do not respond here, so you don’t even know if their message system is even up and running. I believe it’s another tactic so they can continue to add late fees. If you don’t pay these suspicious fees, they can send you to collections. Good luck with that. Not me. It’s not worth it. I felt like this was click bait. Easy to get in, once your locked in, good luck finding your way around. Kiss your money goodbye and say hello to suspicious fees and your unforgettable late fees(for the suspicious fees)

Working Mom FUll Time

I was happy until the billing/customer service department ignored my question. I noticed I was getting billed for session’s we didn’t have. I have no idea who the therapist was either. It’s been 2 months and I have been asking for the details on who and how. They keep responding with ”just pay”. It’s illegal to charge for services that did not take place. Also, we always cancel sessions within time frame, but sometimes they charge for the cancellation. Some of the therapists are great. Not all well seasoned. So if you’re looking for strong support, I’d recommend a specific office with an higher degree. Other than the billing being department unresponsive, it’s good for people who need to talk to someone to get things off your chest and have meaningful conversations. Be sure to you are gaining coping skills if that’s what you need

I cannot describe how bad of an office and internet doctors office Lifestance is. There office policies require you to do every treatment they ask inside their office or you will be banned from their global network. Have your own therapist? Not when you go here. You WILL be required to do whatever treatment they suggest and you Have NO say in that treatment.

This is not one bad doctor, this is their office and insurance policies and you will not get the help you are needing or looking for.

i love my therapist, but customer service is awful
