I started therapy with Lia last July. From the start, I found it very easy to talk with Lia. She is very warm and I felt very safe and comfortable opening up to her.

Over the course of our sessions, she completely changed my view regarding therapy and what it can do in terms of healing, coming to terms with difficult things in my past, deconstructing wrong views and lies about myself, life, etc. She helped me make sense of things that occurred in my past and I was able to experience healing in so many ways I never thought possible.

She gave me reasonable and sound advice on how to have difficult conversations and handle conflict with people close to me. My Partner and I went with Lia as our couples therapist when our relationship was at its worse. Without her help and sessions, I’m sure my relationship with my partner would be where it is at today. Lia was very insightful and listens to what I had to say. She was impartial and gave constructive insight on my views and feelings, and same with my partner. I could not recommend anyone better than Lia Huynh for someone who is capable of giving supportive, compassionate, and caring therapy sessions.

Signing up on Lia's website was relatively straightforward and soon I was on my way and talking to her the same day I reached out for help in order to schedule an appointment. We had a quick initial 15 to 20 minute phone call the day I reached out in order for her to get an idea of what I needed, and then we scheduled my first session shortly thereafter.

My first session with Lia was actually really great and she made it easy to open up to her about things. Despite that being our first lengthy interaction, she made me feel comfortable enough to open up about my own situation. She was always listening and attentive while giving me the time to speak about what I needed to talk about. I didn't feel pressured at all to open up and talk things out nor did I feel judged by her. She made me comfortable enough to be able to do that because of her capability for empathy and understanding others.

It's now been a number of sessions with Lia and after talking through my issues with her to help guide me, I feel far better than I did when I first started talking with her. She made our sessions feel fun and engaging, and also gave me a better idea of how to continue through life with a newfound knowledge to help improve myself every day. We're all smart in our own ways, but no one person knows everything, so it's always helpful when someone like Lia shows you things from a new perspective.

For anyone who is considering talking to a mental health professional - please consider Lia Huynh. At some point, I used to be able to "self-fix" my own issues by myself. After some time, however, I realized that I could no longer do this. I was stuck and having difficulty to the point that I realized I needed outside help from a mental health professional. I'm glad that Lia came into my life to help me out. If more people talked to great mental health professionals like Lia, I think our world perhaps would be a lot better off.

I began seeing Lia recently and already I can see clear growth in my life as a result. Every time I step into her office, I feel safe and welcome. She is an amazing individual therapist as well as an amazing marriage therapist, as my husband also began joining my sessions.
