Michael with Let's Jump, L.A. came to our school last Friday for a full day where he "took over" our PE classes and then held a school-wide motivational assembly where he shared his amazing jump rope tricks and a wonderful positive message. We are a TK-5th grade dual immersion school and all of our kids were so motivated and participated fully during PE and then wanted jump ropes out during their lunch recesses to try the tips and tricks that Michael taught them during PE. During the assembly he does amazing jump rope tricks that truly had the students and staff screaming with joy and encouragement. If you haven't booked him at your school yet, please do so asap as you truly will LOVE what he does with the students. He is wonderful with them during the PE take-over and provides a wonderful message of spreading kindness and being kind always to everyone. I highly recommend him and I will definitely have him back next school year.

Jumping rope can be overwhelming and physically challenging, but working with Mike makes it fun to a point you don't realize it's a cardio workout.

Mike is an amazing coach, jump rope legend, and most of all- a good person. He is one of the most respected jumpers in the sport, and works with everybody of all skill levels.

I came to Mike when i was struggling with some beginner - intermediate level tricks and within minutes he identified every micro-movement i needed to improve, which led to me actually completing the tricks. He wasn't only helping improve my technique, but he was motivational and super patient.

Whether beginner or advanced, Mike will find a way to make you a better jumper, and you'll have lots of fun doing so.

Mike has taught jump rope around the world and competed in the sport at the highest level. Even with that being the case, he approaches life and his teaching with humility, patience, and excitement at seeing people learn. That includes simply learning to jump over a rope once to the highest-level skills. He has a really thoughtful and analytical approach. This is combined with years of experience to know and identify the ways to help you learn new skills, while still enjoying the process.

Regardless of age, whether you’re a jump rope beginner or expert, Mike can teach you; he’s one of the best teachers and people out there. I’ve learned so much from him and I highly recommend you take one of his classes.

Without a doubt, Mike @letsjumpla is one of the absolute best in the world in jump rope - a true innovator of the sport, worldwide inspiration, and amazing coach.

No matter the proficiency, style, or nationality, Mike always knows how to coach his students to bring out the best of their skill sets, and uses helpful, encouraging prompts to help them discover new ones they never thought they could do.

I've had the pleasure of learning directly under Mike through his basic and advanced wrap classes and his teaching methods are easy to absorb and apply in my own training. Despite his superlative place in the jump rope world, Mike does all of this with a humble heart and positive spirit, which makes the learning experience thrice as rewarding.

Mike is a treasure and it is an honor to be one of his students! May your tribe continue to increase!

We booked Mike Fry for an hour family jump roping session at our elementary school, and funded it through our PTA. We had over 100 people show up and it was an incredible event! Mike was easy to communicate with leading up to the event, he was flexible, and showed up on time. Not only is he an incredible jump-roper (a TRUE professional-amazing!), he has an inspirational message, and is able to teach and engage various age groups and levels. We were so impressed with this event, we decided to hire him to come back to our school to do what he calls a "PE Takeover" during the school day. We can't wait!

I’ve gotten to know Mike as a very supportive coach who is full of knowledge and enjoys seeing his clients succeed. He is a great coach and an amazing person. I had the opportunity to take online coaching session with Mike and also enrolled in the “Focus on Fundamentals” program. He made learning and unlocking new jump ropes skills incredibly fun!

Mikes program “Focus on Fundamentals” is fantastic! The program helped give me the tools needed to become more skillful and to help me understand connections in sequences. It also helped me identify areas that needed improvement, and helped me become more efficient with his drills. The drills were excellent and introduced me to many skills I hadn’t attempted or thought of combining. The drills targeted both dominant and non dominant sides, and forwards/backwards motions. These were things I felt have major improvement over the course of the program.

Mike was extremely helpful when I had questions and provided very in depth explanations to help me understand/unlock movements. I am thankful for everything Mike has taught me. It has been a great experience learning from Mike and I highly recommend his program and classes to everyone. Even after the program finished, I continue to use his drills during my jump sessions as a way to polish a skill and as a warm up.

Mike is a jumprope legend, an amazing coach, humble person, and truly a genius!

His focus on fundamental program & teaching has helped me tremendously on improving my jumprope skills, broaden my perspectives, and increasing my awareness of my form, rope flow, my body movement, timing, control, and so many other things which can help to make everything more clean and efficient.

He also helped me to expose not only my strengths, but also my weaknesses and bad habits, without ever forget to remind me to enjoy the process! Not only my skills improved, my strength-endurance has also improved significantly. Most importantly, my love with jumprope sport grows even bigger 🙂

I’ve learned so much from him and I couldn’t recommend him enough to any of you (with any jumprope skills level) who wants to find a jumprope coach to help you!

I picked up a jump rope for the first time at age 47. Came across Zoom classes from Let’s Jump LA and decided to give it a try. Mike is amazing. I look forward to every class and am always amazed at what I can do after each class. He has an incredible way of breaking down each trick and making it accessible and making sure each person is successful. He sees even the smallest tweaks he can adjust in form to make us better jumpers. So glad I decided to try these classes.
