Ok so first things first, I am not really one to write reviews, but I feel I have been coming long enough that I owe credit, where credit is due.
Leslie is definitely awesome and I recommend her to anyone that is currently looking for a therapist. Back in 2022 I was looking for a therapist locally that was not only looking for new patients but was willing to take insurance. Which if you haven't shopped around yet is a big ask, currently 99% of therapists I have came across wanted Cash up front and I could bill my insurance, but that isn't exactly what I had hoped to do. Not only was Leslie willing to take me in as a new patient, but she accepted my insurance so I only had to come up with my Co-pay each visit. I have now been going to Leslie for almost 2 years on an almost weekly basis. Initially, I was mainly just going for one thing (PTSD) which she has been a big help with and has given me guidance, tips, and was well versed in techniques to help get me back to the old me. I would say that I still do continue to go to Leslie primarily to discuss and get help with my PTSD, however she is there to help me with whatever I throw at her. She is very professional, caring, and loving. (I know most people may not say their therapist is loving but Leslie genuinely cares and wants to see you do better not just take your money.)
I know not everyone has the same experience with a therapist so it doesn't hurt to shop around and find the one for YOU, but I feel it isn't something you can lock down after just a couple visits because there will always be the starting to get to know each other phase. I myself initially didn't know what a good therapist was or what they did but now I do and I will tell you first hand that I too questioned if it was a "fit" but I stayed the course and now I can speak from experience.
I cannot promise you that your financial and insurance will align like mine did as there are so many different options out there and levels. However, I can promise you that if you give Leslie a chance you will be doing yourself a favor.

Have known Leslie as a counselor/therapist for several years and she has been a huge help through many stressful issues. Personal, emotional and mental issues that I have gone through (and am currently going through) that I have been able to make it through because of her and the techniques that she uses.
She has a kind and caring manner, is very knowledgeable and shares the material she has with me so that I can use it to read between our sessions. She is a confident and encouraging positive therapist who will be strong to move me in the direction I need to go, but not push me farther than I can go at that moment. She is a great person to talk to as a therapist and as a friend.
I highly recommend her for her qualifications and her personality.
