I've lived on the leg for over 20 years, There's one person on the lake who doesn't take care of his House, I would be ashamed if I live there, Is definitely bringing the property values down. Is everybody knows who he is

A poor man's Paradise, I live on the lake. I have a special needs child who is absolutely amazing and if it were not for this community, being a dad would be very difficult in this day and age. With the lake I have an opportunity to teach him kayaking and paddle boarding, pickleball, swimming and heated pool. The hiking isn't bad. There's always a crazy neighbor or two. Barring that, there's a lot of good people here. The management company for the lake is probably about the worst I've ever seen but the people who work at the lake facilities are very kind-hearted people.

Lake San Marcos sits at the bottom of the nearby mountains. The lake has paddle boats, a hotel, restaurant, and other shops. It's a nice break from the more populated parts of San Marcos, and many people retire in the homes near the lake. There are a few golf courses nearby, also.
