My husband and I did a session of couples therapy with this therapist. We thought our first session went well as she had some good advice and positive energy. Before our next appointment, my husband texted her for advice/help during one of our arguments. She called him up and scheduled him for an appointment alone. She heard his side, then she dropped me as a client but not my husband. It made me feel very shut out and shunned, like my voice didn’t matter- My worst fear for couples therapy. It definitely doesn’t sit right having a therapist only listen to one side and not the other and make judgments based on that. The whole point of going to see this therapist was for “couples” therapy, which she supposedly specializes in. But she favored my husband and only wanted him as a client. Therapists should NEVER take sides or hold bias, but unfortunately that’s the case for this one. Very disappointed we shelled out ~$240 for nothing.

I tried to contact this therapist several times. She boasts on her website that she responds within 2 hours. After 3 calls with no response I decided to give up. It seems to me that someone in this profession, possibly dealing with people who are in crisis, would be a little more on top of things. If she’s not accepting new clients, she could easily say that in her outgoing message when someone calls. She strikes me as completely unprofessional and she probably did me a favor by not getting back to me. I don’t need a therapist who doesn’t care. I’ll just move on.
