A frustrating inconvenience of a department that is supposed to help & show care & concern for their patients. I had to facilitate my own care from this department by calling when they were supposed to reach out to me, speaking with my primary care doctor about not receiving responses from them while having her message them on my behalf after 2 weeks of calling then waiting for them to contact me after I was told someone should reach out to me within a few days of my intake exam (ultimately, they didn’t reach out to me until about 3 weeks after my intake exam), & being passed around from receptionists to nurse practitioners but never to an actual therapist. I never had an actual appointment - the one I had scheduled was canceled day of & no one reached out to me to reschedule until I started calling (same situation as the intake exam timeline), not to mention this appointment was scheduled well over a month after my intake exam when I was supposed “to be seen within 10 days.” The people here made it quite clear they don’t have time for me - generally not a good business practice when you’re running a mental health clinic. I hope no one has the impersonal, inconvenient, frustrating, & time-wasting experience I had.
