I am a student of the Coconino community college campus. It is a very good location and my instructor's are very knowledgeable and easy to talk too. Sarah is an awesome in class teacher. Mike is a good guy, great instructor and has provided alot of great knowledge for me. Lory has been my point of contact and has helped me tremendously with getting hired on with the largest trucking company in America, she has been very attentive and persistent for my needs. I highly recommend checking out what HDS truck driving school can offer you.

I went here to get my CDL-A License, it's a great school to go to. The only thing that I wish that they taught was backing into a dock between trucks. That would be great. Overall a great place. The company I work for after getting my license and coming back to Tucson for home time with my truck.

I highly recommend HDS! The instructors and staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always going above and beyond to answer questions and ease concerns. I started with zero experience in truck or manual driving, but thanks to their expert guidance, I’m now CDL certified. The supportive environment made me feel welcome every step of the way. If you’re considering a career in trucking, visit them first—you won’t regret it!

To sum it up, while being a bit disorganized, ALL of the staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to help this Class B student get through it as smoothly as possible, from providing sleeping arrangements, to the testing and drug test. I trained on a Class A manual tractor and glad I did. Everything since then has been much easier, from the pre-trip, to the parking and backing, to the driving. They’d get a 5 Star if I hadn’t had to ask a lot of questions that should have been answered before Day 1. Totally recommended.
