Dan and Melissa did my original loan when I purchased my home and were so good then that I wanted to use them for the refi as well. They are incredibly knowledgeable and ensure that you have all of the detail needed to make an informed decision. They took the time to communicated frequently throughout the process and ensure that I was fully aware of everything being done in the background. Worked with Dan 15 years ago when I was originally going to purchase in Lake Havasu City. Plans changed and I bought in California, but Dan was my mortgage rep just the same. Fast forward 15 years and I have sold the California home and we now purchased an absolutely gorgeous home in Lake Havasu City with the help of Dan and Melissa at Academy Mortgage. Dan has been extremely helpful thru the whole process of purchasing our home. Any questions we have had, he has anwered honestly and thoroughly. It has been 24 years since we have purchased a home and we live in another state, so, everything has been done electronically. Dan and his staff at Academy Mortgage Corporation have been very friendly and helpful and patient with us. Dan was recommended to us through our real estate agent and I am very grateful. It's a little bit scary going through this process via email and over the phone, but Dan has put our minds at ease and let's us know what the next step is and sends us helpful videos.

I was referred to Dan by a friend. Due to my work schedule, he was nice enough to meet with me on a weekend!!
This is the first time I have considered buying a home, and Dan walked me Step-by-Step through the process. He has taken the time to explain everything to me, and what to expect going forward.
Dan and his team in the office will answer questions and e-mails very quickly.
I thought that going through this process would be cumbersome; but it has actually been fairly easy, with Dan's help.
I would recommend him to anyone thinking of buying a home!

They were all wonderful. Theresa and Lisa were fabulous. They treated us like family. They were always on top of everything and always kept us informed. They were such a pleasure to work with.
