We feel very lucky to have found Gracie Jiu Jitsu Vista! Both my kids enjoy the bullyproof class. The instructors have great energy and pace the class very well. I like how they role model a situation and then the kids practice getting out of the scenario. All the instructors are very kind and patient. My kids enjoy it so much that it encouraged me to join as well. Both Locksley and Tate are great teachers in the adult combatives class. Every partner I have been paired with has been great to work with. It's such a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. I am surprised at the techniques and it challenges me in a manys way. It is an overall rewarding learning experience and tons of fun!

I'm 26 and just signed up about a month ago and hands down one of the best things I have ever done for myself. My self confidence and knowledge for Jiu Jitsu has grown tremendously and I'm excited to go into every class. The instructor Locksley is amazing at what he does and makes you feel very comfortable and welcoming. Everyone in there has great energy and I highly recommend this gym to anyone interested in self defense/Jiu Jitsu!!

Instructor Locksley offers a great friendly community that is respectful and all eager to enhance themselves. The Coach's and instructors are all subject matter experts that are dedicated and committed in teaching excellence and mold students to emulate the same. If you want to be street ready and be able to defend yourself effectively Gracie Jiu-jitsu Vista is the place for you! Had a blast with my time and will always highly recommend this CTC.

We love being apart of Gracie Vista! It’s been a great experience for myself and my 2 kids. The classes are easy to under stand and absorb for any level. I’ve seen the kids confidence go through the roof and it Keeps me motivated to grow and stay in shape. We have no plans on stopping anytime soon.

I’ve been taking private lessons from Tate for a few months now. My first experience with Jiu Jitsu or any type of self defense has been fantastic. Tate is so kind and knowledgeable, and I really appreciate his style of teaching. He never makes me feel like, “You should know this already!” He is so patient and respectful, and he makes learning this new skill enjoyable.

I had no idea what Jiu Jitsu was prior to my first trial class, and I was nervous to come. Locksley and Tate welcomed me and made me feel right at home. They are both fantastic teachers, effectively explaining and modeling techniques in easy to understand ways. They make class fun and sometimes even funny! This is NOT an intimidating, aggro gym. Locksley and Tate facilitate an encouraging, respectful, and collaborative environment for all ages and abilities. One of their mottos, painted in large letters on the wall, is, “Keep it playful!” Bring a Certified Training Center, they also have organized, predictable curriculum that enables you to easily measure your progress and set goals for your growth. I highly recommend GJJV to everyone!

Gracie Vista has exceeded my expectations by far. The staff is friendly, motivating and organized! The facility is clean and classes are punctual. I’ve been able to retain each lesson so much more than other programs. I think this has a lot to do with the instructors experience and passion for Jiu Jitsu!
