I have been attending Epic Flight Academy Tucson campus for 7 months. From the minute I stepped through the door, I have felt welcome. I received a tour of the facility and went up for a discovery flight with Brock. He was so nice. I decided to enroll. Since the beginning I have met many new instructors and students alike. There is definitely a family like feel to the campus. I have immense pride in being a student at Epic. Aside from being professional and preparing you for your tests, they are fostering an environment that just makes you happy to be there. Thanks to all involved.

After getting my private pilot license elsewhere during college, I heard about the accelerated training options. I was dreading the transition to a flight school with impossible schedules and emphasis on speed over quality of instruction. But after touring Epic (which I recommend highly), and after getting to know the instructors and other students, I know I made the right choice. Epic’s Tucson location has found the perfect balance of efficiency, quality, and flexibility that works for me, all under part 141. And as a part time student, I’ve been able to continue my training at a full-time pace while juggling my other obligations, and not getting burned out. Epic is the perfect school to go to to get the licenses and ratings you need and still enjoy flying, which will make a world of a difference.

Fantastic school! I got my instrument training here through their part 141 course. The experience was great. All of the I structure want to see tou succeed. Even if you aren't their student, they're always willing to answer questions and give advice. I went to my check ride feeling confident that I was well prepared for whatever might come up. Will be continuing my flight training here for sure.

If you're thinking about flight training, this is the place to do it. The quality of training here is outstanding and everyone there, students and instructors, are always willing to help you out to make sure that you succeed. Along with 4 planes, they also have other resources to help you out during training, such as a flight simulator and a mock G1000 glass cockpit.

I spent a substantial amount of time searching for a flight school that could rapidly get me through the training I was after while also offering the flexibility required to continue working (including a busy travel schedule) and coaching my kids’ soccer teams. Epic showed up in late 2023 and offered exactly what I was looking for.

They offer a fantastic (and very thorough) curriculum that took me through a structured syllabus from 0 hours to my PPL and a first-shot pass of every gate, test, and final evaluation. Their program included structured ground-school time to supplement the online ground-school study program that was paired with the syllabus. This helped ensure that I spent my limited available time focusing on those factors that were most applicable and most important to understand while also periodically refreshing my memory on the lighter touch items that, while still important, were less critical bits of knowledge.

Overall, I thought the course was great and all of the CFIs I worked with were approachable, knowledgable, and humble.

I WILL be continuing to work with Epic for all of my flight training as I continue toward my ATP.
