I have known Dr. Horevitz for years, as she’s delivered the highest quality of care to a widely diverse population of people here in Marin. Not only has she delivered tremendous direct care, she has taught and guided innumerable other healthcare providers in developing their own skills and establishing their own high standards. In short, as a provider and leader, she understands what tools are available and needed to provide the best possible care. As a psychiatrist, I am very selective in whom I refer patients to for therapy. When we are struggling, we need a therapist who is warm, relatable, engaging, and compassionate. Dr. Elizabeth Horevitz encompasses all of those traits and more. I have known her professionally for over 6 years, and I would trust her to care for my family members and close friends. She has a genuine warmth and empathy that is contagious, and she knows when to encourage and when to listen and hold space.
