I’m very happy to write a positive review for Dr Henry Ortiz. I saw him for help with anxiety, stress, and communication issues with family & co-workers. The results have been very good!

Dr Ortiz is very compassionate, understanding, and non-judgmental. I feel like I can tell him anything and never get a negative response. He always listens and does his best to help me find a good way forward.

He’s helped me understand the psychology behind my issues and helped me understand myself on a deeper level. And he’s also helped me with so many day-to-day challenges. His advice is always very practical and I leave our sessions with concrete steps I can take right away to fix problems at work or at home.

I had been hemming and hawing about therapy when a friend referred Henry and encouraged me to at least have a conversation with him. I am so happy I made that initial call! From the get-go I felt an unusual sense of calm when speaking with him, I'm not sure how or what it was, perhaps his kind and calm voice, but it brings me a much needed sense of peace and for someone who struggles with high levels of anxiety and panic attacks, it's a godsend to feel any sort of calm or peace. Henry often makes me feel like he knows exactly what I'm going through and he has the wisdom and tools to teach me how to manage my emotions and sort through the things that are underneath my anxiety and panic attacks. Over time we've chipped away with steps I can take to manage it all. Honestly what helped me the most is how he taught me to stop fighting with my emotions and to create a completely different relationship with them. I no longer become crazy overwhelmed and I know how to proactively stay at ease and how to calm my anxiety anytime, the best thing for me is that what I am learning is soooo easy to apply in real life! Why wasn't this taught to me when I was growing up?! I highly recommend Henry to anyone who is struggling with their own mental health, I can't thank my friend enough for encouraging me to make the initial call, it was a life changer! Thank you P! My girlfriend and I started seeing Dr. Ortiz for couples therapy a few weeks. At first I had no desire to see a therapist but my gf insisted and I'm glad she did because Dr. Ortiz has a very charismatic personality and knows the ins and outs of how to help couples like us.
