David is AMAZING! I have this sweet, goofball Boxer who, at 2 years old, started showing initial signs of aggression. After he unexpectedly lunged and jumped on a lady during one of our walks, I knew that I needed to get help. David turned him around after literally ONE session. There are people who can train your dog, and there are people who are truly gifted and know dogs and how they work. David is definitely in the latter category. My sweet little baby now walks perfectly beside me on all of our walks without a care in the world. Further, all of David's techniques are techniques that are NOT hurting your dog. No choke collars, shock collars, etc. David comes to you and your dog to see what types of training will work best for you and your dog. And it isn't all just about the dog either! The owner definitely gets trained too! There is a lot of psychological stuff that goes on in your session as well. David really knows what he is doing!

David is unique and entertaining! He understands dogs, but he understands people even more and that is the key to teaching you how to manage your dog! His technique is simple but logical and effective and kind. We could see immediate results with our pooch - he got it right away and as long as my husband and I keep working on OUR bad behavior we know we will have a perfectly balanced family! We have had one session and David gave us so many great tools and tips. At first we thought we could train our dog ourselves, and possibly we could have eventually. But having David come out was the most worthwhile investment, it will save us countless hours of our time and frustration because he has taught us how to train our dog so that everyone understands the goals with minimal stress. Awesome guy, awesome trainer - highly recommend!

My boyfriend and i have just finished a second session with David and the truth is his dog training techniques are simple, easy to execute on our own and highly highly effective. Also, David is a pleasure to work with as well as being a good communicator, helping us to understand our dog's needs.

We have a rescue pit bull who was heavily abused and now he lives peacefully in a home with three cats. David's techniques helped make this possible.

I whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to train their dog or simply to understand their dog better.

I adopted a husky/shepherd mix 4 months ago and called David to assess her behavior and how much work she'd need. He performed a thorough evaluation during the first session and recommended steps to take to work out her quirks. I followed up with him and scheduled a second session a few weeks later. Three months in and the dog is well-adjusted to her new surroundings.

If you've adopted a dog (especially one with multiple owners in the past) or have one with severe behavioral issues, I highly recommend contacting David to help you out. He's an incredible person who's just as amazing with dogs as their owners.

Approx three weeks ago, we met with David. Our beloved dog, Boots, was having aggression issues - with certain dogs and new people. We tried various ways of training, but remained feeling helpless and not confident. We are expecting a baby in December, so we needed to get more help. So we reach out to David - and we are so happy we did! We loved David! He is fun to work with, has a sense of humor, and is down to earth. Boots responded to him in a magical way. David could tell immediately that our dog's aggression was fear-based (prior abuse), and knew how to handle our little one in an assertive/caring way. The great thing was, that he had us take over, rather than just handle Boots himself. We got to train indoors and outdoors, with dogs and people and all kinds of stimulants/distractions walking by. Since our session, we have been practicing what David has taught us all, and so far so good! We have been noticing a difference in Boots, and ourselves. We now have hope!!

David is just the best! I run a business of pediatric wellness (Kids Therapy Made Simple) and when I got Addie, I immediately wanted her to become a therapy dog. We started seeing David right away when Addie was just 9 weeks old. Next week she turns 1 and she is just the best dog! With David's help, Addie is turning in to the best little therapeutic canine. She comforts the children, she lets them pet her and she gives them TONS of kisses, all while responding to non-verbal commands that David has taught us. With a simple snap of the finger followed by a hand motion Addie has learned to sit, lay down, stay and even 'give hugs'.

David has provided superior behavioral training that is unlike any other dog training I have experienced. Not only is it different from other theories, but it works better as he is helping train the dog to respect me as it's owner. Unlike other theories, David doesn't use treats and I think it is the best thing that Addie has no idea what a 'cookie' is. She doesn't perform commands with the expectation of receiving a treat, rather David has taught us how to train Addie to perform commands out of respect for me.

David has worked with 3 of our family dogs and they are all just the most well behaved, gentle dogs. If I could recommend him to every new dog owner I would. He's just the best "Uncle David"!

We first met with David five years when we rescued a pit bull mix. She was a mess. She aggressive on the leash. Anytime she saw another dog she saw red and would just lose her mind. The worst part was that she was so strong. On one occasion she pulled my wife onto the ground and with me she injured my shoulder. We went to training classes and private lessons but nothing was working.

We were on the cusp of giving up. We thought we'd try one more thing. And so we called David. He came to our apartment. He was a ball of energy. He talked with my wife and I for a long time about the situation. He learned about us. He learned about our dog. It was the first time that someone actually asked about our environment and where she came from. He treated our dog like the unique creature she was and designed our plan around that. I say plan but honestly it was one session. We sat outside for a little over an hour while he educated us on actions and emotional responses to our dog. And then he did a few more exercises together. He gave us some real tools to work with after he left.

From that day on, her episodes slowly dwindled until 3 weeks later, it was over. Our dog loves every dog now. She sees a dog, she wants to play with them. She's at a place that we never thought we'd be with her.

Fast forward two years later. We rescued a second pit mix. He had a really rough history. He was different than our first dog. He feared not only other dogs, but most people when he met them. We worked with him and worked with him with the tools we had and over the three years we had him, we found ways to deal with his issues. And although he's not as amenable to meeting other dogs as our first dog, we found it to be manageable.

Things changed this year when my wife became pregnant. We wanted to make sure that he was prepared for this change. We knew we'd have a lot of family coming in and out as they visit the new baby. So instead of waiting until we actually have problems after the birth, we decided to call David to help us prepare for this life change.

David came over and rang the doorbell and our dog flipped his lid, which is his MO. He's very protective of us and the house and we're pretty sure he will be with the baby. David came in and again, he sat down with us to ask how things had been since we'd last seen him. He asked about our new dog. Where did he come? What happened to him?

And then we did some new exercises geared toward this dog's particular issues. Within an hour, we saw big changes in our dog. A day later, our dog wasn't even barking at the mail carrier.

David left us with instructions to continue the training and an open invitation to call back when the baby is born if we need more help.

So two dogs, over a five year span that David has stepped in and helped us. He was so kind the first time and even kinder the second time. His wife handles all the "business stuff" as David puts it, while he does his thing. They're devoted to not only helping families but also the dogs in our care.

I can't recommend him more.

David is an actual miracle worker. In 1 session he completely turned my dogs world upside down. He would constantly bite and go CRAZY when I had food around, but within a matter of seconds David made the food seem Invisible to my dog. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants an honest, fast, and effective trainer. He is worth every penny.
