I had a great experience visiting Cornerstone. Compared to previous counseling I had with other counselors, I got a lot more out of the whole experience. From improving the relationships with my family, to creating more healthy habits. I would recommend at least trying cornerstone for anyone struggling with mental health.

I guess I should have read the reviews before coming here. Iam not even sure how they have 4 stars with the majority of the reviews say negative about this place. I too recently had a horrible experience, would never recommend Cindy to anyone. Did absolutely no good, The sessions only consisted of random conversations and never helped get a resolution. Was supposed to do some MDR session which was never performed, just kept saying she believed it would help and never did it.. I can't speak about the other counselors but I definitely wouldn't use Cindy.

I was in need of assitancet for my seven yr opd son who has been through a traumatic experience. They assured me they could help and set an appointment for me on wed and one for my son fri, but when i called they said that my appointment was not untul fri. I explained that it was imparive that my son be seen asap. The receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. They offered no asstance and just requested i go somewhere else. How can you expect a place like this to care and give quality service to your loved ones with there total lack of remorse. I will never use there services or suggest them to anyone.

We had a good experience. You get out of the counseling what you put into the counseling. It's difficult to write great experience only because the situation that drove us there was so terrible. The counselors and stag did a great job.

Disclosed information to a 3rd party about my appointment without my knowledge or consent. Pretty sure that violates HIPPA.

Try somewhere else… you won’t regret it.

Everyone is always friendly. I have seen 2 different counselors here over the years and they are both great.

I had the most horrifying experience with Cynthia Lindgren. My goal with this post is to hopefully keep others from having a similar experience. She checked all the boxes during the screening process and we were excited about using her for my 15 year old daughter. The only communication I had with her was during the interview session and email even though I asked for an in person visit. This request was ignored. I let her know all of our background information and everything going on with my daughter and she either didn’t listen to what I had to say or didn’t believe me or a combination of the two. I rarely got any response from her to my emails. She didn’t provide updates as promised or answer my questions. What’s even worse and to top all of this off, is that she decided to call CPS on me because I told her I needed to pause counseling due to financial difficulties. The report she made said it was medical neglect and that I was refusing to pay for counseling and my daughter’s medication. Medication never even came up in any of our conversations and was never apart of my plan. The report which was read to us by CPS was 100% made up lies! She said horrible things about me in the report and it was shocking to hear the “opinions” she formed about me in such a short period of time especially since there was no factual basis for any of it. She even told them she believed I was changing insurance companies just to harm my child. I changed insurance companies because it was going to save money!!! Since when does switching insurance companies hurt anyone? The fact that she really believes I’m out to harm my child is pretty alarming also. I find it pretty ironic that everything she says she specializes in showed the exact opposite during my short relationship with her. She’s a “trauma” and “family” therapist and has caused myself and my family significant trauma and now I’m even more concerned about my child’s mental health and wellbeing after her being involved. I actually need therapy after having to deal with her but how do I know who I can even trust now after this experience? By the way, the case has been closed since I am NOT abusive and CPS recommended that I report Cynthia to the board which I’ve done. CPS told me that this was not a CPS case at all!!! I’m not sure what Cynthia’s issue is but she does not need to be in the mental health industry!
