As a patient at Comprehensive Psychiatry Services (CPS) for over two and a half years, my experience has been extremely positive. The billing staff, in particular, deserve special recognition; they are not only knowledgeable and responsive but also approach every interaction with genuine kindness and a sincere desire to help.

My video appointments with Dr. Orakpo have been very good: accurate and insightful questions from him and a most warm and friendly demeanor. He’s an excellent therapist and diagnostician. I recommend him highly.

However, the impending end to Medicare coverage for video conferences like the ones I have had concerns me greatly, and I do hope that fees for such meetings will be kept at the level of the current Medicare reimbursement or SLIGHTLY HIGHER. What you have billed to Medicare is pretty steep for my budget.

I have been a patient since 2022. After my initial psych doc left private practice, I was assigned a new psych doc. I am very happy with all my interactions with Comprehensive Psych Services. I recommend their office to fellow first responders. The convenience of Zoom appointments makes it extremely helpful to keep my mental health in check. If I had to go to an office regularly, I probably wouldn’t. Especially during the dark days.

I have been to other private psychiatrists and have not felt as secure in my care as I do here. I am taking the next step and will be starting TMS therapy soon.
