My daughter with special needs loves ballet! At first, I was really nervous for her but Ms. Emily is welcoming and helps her to feel included. I love seeing her be a part of the Halloween and Christmas performances.

My daughter has been taking ballet with Ms. Emily for 4yrs. We found out about her through my daughter's friend who is also taking ballet with Ms. Emily. My daughter's friend took ballet at a couple of other places, but found Ms. Emily to be the best. ? I am so happy that we decided to take classes with Ms. Emily! She is awesome! So good with the kids. She also teaches other classes. I'm currently taking a stretching and conditioning class along with my daughter. Ms. Emily also offers this class for all ages on Mondays at 6:00. It's so much fun! I'm enjoying the class, especially since I get to do it with my daughter. If I could give more stars, I would!! ?

My daughter has been with this studio for almost 8 years now. Ms. Emily is kind, patient, and serious about her craft. She is extremely professional and really pays attention to the needs of each and every student involved in her dance program. For my daughter, Collenette has been like a second home to her. The studio is small and personable, and values families and their needs. The spring concerts are absolutely spectacular and well organized. We love Collenette School of Dancing!

Ms Emily and Collentte school of dancing is the best. My daughter has been taking ballet class at the school for the past 4 years and she loves the program. Staff, dance teacher (Ms. Emily) is very professional and accommodating with the teaching, schedule and progression of your childs dancing skills. Highy recommend !

My daughter has been coming here for almost a year now. She loves it here! I toured some other dance studios before choosing CSD. Ms Emily is wonderful teacher. She practices good habits with the students, both through dance and class decorum. She is warm, but firm when it comes to how her class is conducted. This ultimately creates a better learning environment for all the dancers. Ms Emily loves her students and what she does. Ultimately, I highly recommend CSD for our future little dancers!

My two daughters take ballet classes at Collenette and they love it. Ms Emily truly cares about the kids and takes teaching them very seriously, which I truly appreciate. She has excellent communication and makes sure every child knows what they are doing in class. We have appreciated her diligence in making sure everyone has stayed safe during the pandemic while continuing to provide classes, with the flexibility of in-person versus on-line options. We love Collenette!

My daughter has been a student here for more than 2 years now. She is 6 and knows all of the ballet positions in the proper french names and impresses me everytime I watch her practice! She does not have the best attention span but I can say the her knowledge of ballet and proper positioning is way past most 6 year olds at other ballet schools. The classes were hard for her at first and I think the teacher (Ms. Emily) may seem strict at times but that structure was a perfect fit for my daughter to stay focused. With that said, Emily still makes it fun and shows genuine love for all of the kids. We tried 2 other really popular schools in the area but they were basically paid play time. This one by far surpassed my expectations in comparison. If you want your child (boy or girl) to really learn the proper form of ballet, jazz or hip hop, I would recommend this school!

This is a wonderful gem of a ballet school! Coming from an intense ballet background myself, I was looking for a school that would give our 4 year old daughter the same professional experience. Ms. Emily and Ms. Makeila offer age appropriate instruction and expert guidance tailored to welcome, foster and nurture young dancers. We’ve watched our little girl develop not only a love of a treasured art form, but a new appreciation for music, story and performance. She’s excited to go and motivated to excel!
