They say finding a wonderful therapist in LA is like finding a needle in a haystack. There are thousands, but it can be overwhelming wondering how to find the right fit. I was referred by a friend to this practice, and if you’re anywhere near South Pasadena (and even if you’re not, and want to Zoom) you absolutely should check them out. Firstly - it helps that they’re in a gorgeous old craftsman house with serene vibes and easy parking. There’s an array of lovely therapists to choose from but I went with the owner Allison who has a wonderful energy, a calm and clear mind and so many areas of expertise. She understands that a bunch of things can overlap in one human - anxiety, postpartum, issues with food, past attachments influencing present ones - and will work on it all. You don’t feel like you’re just a diagnostic code but a whole person. I highly recommend!
