Tamara made the paperwork process seamless, and she is very patient and professional. The therapist was engaging, asked great questions, and managed to keep our daughter, myself, and my husband focused and listening.

Being a new client we were disappointed by the reception and requirements this office held us to. Also, Sylvia the front office person was uncaring (Not what you expect from our therapist) and sarcastically apologized for their requirement and canceling our appointment on us.

Here is what happened -
I scheduled an appointment Tuesday, November 15th for my daughter for Saturday, November 19th at 2 PST. We have been struggling with my daughter’s anxiety and depression and felt a sense of relief to be able to finally get her some help. Not to mention my daughter was finally open to getting help (which is an important part of this process).
We as a family left our home in Gilroy at 12 to get my daughter to the appointment. With much disappointment we were met with a non- enthusiastic, unfriendly reception by Sylvia as we entered suite 6 (the address I was provided when I scheduled the appointment). Sylvia quickly snapped that we were in the wrong building when I informed her of our appointment once Sylvia found out that we were the clients that she left a message for at 11 (2 hours prior to our appointment), she proceeded to say ‘I just left you a message to let you know the paper work was not completed 24 hours in advance and therefore she canceled the appointment.’
This was extremely disappointing that I was not told this when I scheduled the initial appointment and that this was a requirement 24hours prior to our appointment for our appointment to stand. She didn't seem concerned for us nor offered us paperwork to fill out and/or reschedule. Rather she sarcastically said 'sorry' with a smirk.
I am saddened that being a potential client we were treated with such disrespect and no regard for our time and travel. hope this place going forward informs new clients how they can be canceled if paper work isn't completed 24 hours prior to the appointment. It is an awful feeling to drive 40+ miles to be told your appointment no longer stands.

Ingrid Higgins, LMFT and her staff are a pleasure to collaborate with. They have been responsive and professional when I have needed referrals for clients or friends of the family in need of care. I am so impressed by the range of services they offer, from support for anxious teens to trauma and eating disorders. I am pleased to have this organization in our community.

We were extremely dissatisfied with the care we received from Campbell Teen and Family Therapy. Their methods weren't helping my child and were actually causing her significant distress. When we asked if we could make adjustments to her therapy plan, they dropped her as a patient. I would not recommend bringing your child or family here.

I think there should be a better way to try to fit the right therapist with the patient needs. For example, if a patient has been involved in drug use then they should be placed with a therapist that has experience/education in this type of situation. Also, i think the therapist should recommend further assistance from a more qualified person for additional help, maybe a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Campbell Teen, Awesome! Dr. Desai is kind, understanding and very patient. The staff are awesome too. Shout out to Tamara, very efficient and quick with answers. Absolutely Recommend Dr. Desai!
