Ive been trying to sign my kids up for 2 years. Only being able to get a hold of someone like maybe once or twice a year, last year after waiting for months after enrolling them, I was finally able to get the in-home interview scheduled. They said they would notify me as soon as each of my three boys were paired with their Bigs, it's been at least 4 or 5 months, and I've tried contacting them a couple times, got one short response but otherwise you can never contact anyone, they don't keep you updated, it literally seems like it's an entire organization being run by one or two people. I'm aware that they may be short on volunteers, but I mean if trying to be a volunteer is just as tedious in time-consuming as enrolling a child, with equally bad communication, I often wonder if not enough volunteers is due to not enough people wanting to volunteer or if it's due to their poor communication. I mean the concept of it sounds like an amazing program and I've heard great things about it but as far as this location there's a lot of things that need to be otherwise it just kind of seems like the organization is not even in business anymore.

Early this year I signed up to be a volunteer. My friends filled out the long reference forms but the people from Big Brothers Big Sisters never contacted me back. Very bad communication.

I volunteered with BBBS for more then five years, then they decided to no longer want me as a volunteer. No communication, no thank you, no reason provided. Luckily my little brother had graduated from high school so our formal relationship was completed, now we are friends.

This organization is amazing. I wish more people would take the time to help groom the youth of tomorrow. They always have events going on for the Bigs and littles to attend.

this place calls me non stop for a donation, every single day (mostly) for the past year. I already answered and told them im not donating and to stop calling but they won't stop. So yeah im leaving this here
