Wow just wow, being here is just an insult to yourself. They try to make you feel like they are doing their part then use it against you like you make choices on there end. When you ask for higher ups to get to the bottom on what’s needed to help them change the way they work your just ignored. This place is a joke why waste your time giving them money for no result in any mentally issue you may have just to be throwing at you and disregarded what a way to treat your community West Rawc. Good for you. 0 stars

First off , if i was able to leave 0 stars i absolutely would. this establishment is an absolute wreck and a joke in the face of mental health. the constant miscommunication, lack of empathy and overall unprofessionalism is astounding. i would like to give a personal shoutout to Jose Gomez and Marianna Garcia for doing the bare minimum, and it really is impressive almost how they're still able to hold a job with how they've conducted themselves. She feels the need to make herself bigger than she actually is, she closed my case after I explicitly expressed not to so my medication wouldn't get cut off, she did anyway. When I called her out on that, she said she called me too many times to count and when I very much did call her back (she never answered) the countless voicemails and calls somehow never reached her. (convenient) Called Jose G , which is her supervisor and he said he could reopen and help me. However when i called the next day to follow up (and left a voicemail) he never reached back out. This is the person who is supposed to be a leading example and getting things done, he never did. i warn anybody seeking psychiatric help, to not step foot into this building. trust me , you will be far better off elsewhere. The staff in this building needs immense guidance and thorough coaching. The staff here just passes their time and have no actual interest in actually helping their patients or doing their job. Be better.

I was having a crisis and was rushed out of the office even when there was still 20 minutes left on the apointment. She had no empathy whatsoever. They see me upset crying and triggered and urge me to get out because they dont want to deal with people sufferring mental illness. What type of facility are they running again? Oh right a favility that helps mentally ill people. Poor on them they need to have everyone out and get better providers. Ones that care!

Valentina is probably the worst human being I’ve ever encountered on this planet. She is rude and nasty. Threatens to cut off all my services if I’m having a crisis. Deciding not to speak to me for over a year my therapist had to do her job for her. She also could not stand her. Then when my therapist quits I’m suppose to get a new therapist, she calls me after a year and says she’s closing my case cuz that’s what I asked for. Then says she’s closing my case because I’ve been with them for 6 months…I’ve been with them for 3 years! Now a month and a half later nobody can schedule me because supposedly I still have a case open at kern behavioral health West Rawc. When I call to close it myself they transfer me to the same horrible woman who can’t do her job and lies about my case. I’m in limbo. Now they took all the bills from the last 5 months that my Medicare has covered and charged my alternate insurance for each appointment at $200+. How is this possible? How is this place open? There is a place for people like this and it’s pretty hot.

Kern Behavioral Health should be ashamed of themselves. They have case workers that don't care, providers who are never available, and all around communication issues. My best friend is a patient, and has been begging for help. As a mental health facility, your first priority as with any healthcare facility, should be your patients. Kern has proved for months that they simply do not care. I understand these are uncertain and confusing times, but as one who also works in healthcare, I know our patients need us now more than ever. I am extremely disappointed at how disorganize, unprofessional, and lacking this facility is as a whole. My best friend needs help, has been actively trying to get help, yet no files get misplace, medications go unfilled, providers get switched, and case workers are just plain rude. Kern, you guys are failing your patients. Please get it together.

I was on unit two. We found maggots in the cereal once, and food always gave you stomach aches. The regularly give people stuff they’re allergic too and I personally had multiple allergic reactions because of that. Doctor Nierman and Doctor Jacobs discharge people who actively say they’re suicidal and Doctor Nierman tells patients with eating disorders to just ‘think about eating healthier’. Nurse Jessica laughed at homophobic remarks patients made. Many of the nurses and mental health workers were very unprofessional and did nothing when people are going through episodes. Other patients are forced to comfort people which in turn triggers them as well. During the two weeks and 5 days I was there, there was always a patient that was completely mentally stable and was there way past their 5150. Do not go here or send anyone here, we rarely had a single therapy session a day and I struggled to get any diagnosis at all. A lot of the nurses and mental health workers don’t seem to understand mental health and one of the nurses literally blamed a patient for having an episode and called the patient selfish. If a patient is ‘acting up’ they’ll be hesitant to do something that would benefit the patients mental health on the sole purpose that they hospital didn’t think they ‘earned it’, like for example switching units. A lot of transphobia was also exhibited here, they refused to call one trans man by his preferred name cause his birth name was ‘just too pretty’. Even if you have to wait longer to be transferred to a different hospital or even if their is no other hospital option DO NOT take someone or yourself here. This place needs to be shut down

After 3 of my voicemails were ignored I grieved about it to my insurance company to get to another mental health facility and the supervisor called me on the weekend on my friends phone which i've told them, my insurance company told them not to call didn't apologize for my phones not returned instead asked me if i was recieving services at another dr office unrelated and insisted it was my fault my voicemails were not returned because months previously they lied about arranging transportation for me then after i was released from the hospital a different employee called me on the same friends phone after i told them not to call me and asked about my hospital visit they shouldn't of known about but didn't care anyway because after i said i was recieving services elsewhere i still was given a attitude and got hung up on after being clear and answering her question, giving her the answer and again repeating this number wasn't good she gave me a attitude, after getting out of hospital trying to obtain my medication..nobody deserves that. I didn't want anyone to know about my dr office or my hospital visit but they called my friends phone even after i told them not to call, my insurance told them not to call, they still called the number they were told not to call and gave out more information. After i told her i was ok and i don't want her to call this number she got snotty with me and unprofessional. Like they were checking to see if i was alive but was upset i was and i was getting the help i needed. No privacy, no professionalism, no accountability. Thank you for abusing the position of trust and judging me without helping me get the healthcare i was seeking.

After a year and 3 Dr's I figured out that there's a common agenda with this clinic. They respond to serious psychological issues such as insomnia, depression, anxiety and PTSD with inane advice such "get a hobby". "You need to discipline yourself." "You just need therapy." "No that didn't happen." "I don't believe in psych meds." Or they'll compare themselves with you. Um they're wealthy supposedly stable people.

This kind of treatment for vulnerable, disturbed patients is dangerous and unethical, not to mention triggering. I'm done and heading to Omni.
