I’ve been training jiu jitsui for over 7 years now and have about a year of training at JG Livermore. Great gym, great people, and no egos. AJ runs a great class and Robby does a great job with the morning class too. There’s no bad vibes in the gym at all and the competition is phenomenal. Whether you want to come in and get tournament ready and get a lot of really tough rounds in or you just want to get started learning bjj it’s great for both. It’s a relaxed environment with no weird rules and everyone gets treated like an adult. Also great representation at every belt level with experienced jiu jitsu veterans and phenomenal talent. This gym has taken off and it’s only gonna keep getting better.

What a phenomenal place to train at! This family run gym maintains an extremely welcoming, friendly, and fun atmosphere. The instruction is top notch as well. Coach AJ is not only a very knowledgeable instructor, but also a highly effective teacher. There are also morning and evening classes, which is very convenient when I can’t make an evening class, and an open mat on Saturdays as well. We love this academy! My 7 year old son started going about 7 months ago and then my 10 year daughter started attending shortly afterwards. They both absolutely love it. The coaches are very knowledgeable and are very strict, but kind with the kids. The facility is very clean and their is lots of room for parents to watch. My kids love attending and work hard to earn their stripes. I can't say enough how glad we are to have found this academy!

I’ve been doing jiu jitsu for 12 years and I really like training here. The owner AJ is very creative in how he runs the classes and class is very fun and challenging at the same time. The group of training partners is really good and we always have great rolls. Come and train here for a lot of fun.

Coach AJ & Coach Monica are truly amazing leaders and run an amazing gym. My kids are in the 4-7 class and they genuinely take the time to really work with the kids, teach the fundamentals, and instill great morals. We look forward to practice everyday! Aspire to inspire JG Livermore deserves more than 5 stars, AJ and Monica run an amazing facility and make everyone who steps through the door feel like they are at home. I have been training for almost 10 years and I cannot recommend this place enough. No long term expensive contracts, Kids classes, adult classes, no gi, morning and evening classes, this gym has it all.

Our daughter has been attending the youth class for 6 months now and absolutely loves it. What we thought would be a 1-2 day/week hobby quickly became a 4-5 days/week passion.

We're very pleased with the quality of coaching, and the skills and expectations learned on the mat carry over to home and school. We've seen improvement on school grades, a drive to get homework finished (so she can attend Jiu Jitsu class, and better behavior.

I strongly recommend this facility to anyone interested in getting back in-shape, or looking to get their kids active and away from a screen.

If you're looking for a family-oriented jiu-jitsu membership that promotes self-confidence and is not expensive, Aspire to inspire is your place to go. What we and our daughter (11 yo) like the most, you don’t have to sign a 3 or 6 month contract. Your child can train at least 4 times a week with additional open matt every Saturday. The facility is clean and open. Most importantly is that our daughter really enjoys to train at JG. The coaches AJ and Monica created a disciplined but a very kids friendly atmosphere.
