I didn't know who I was before I went to Alter health Group. Through the individual therapy and the group sessions I was able to find myself. After 30 years of being an addict I am healthy and happy with no desire to want to use now. I was able to understand things about myself that drove me to using. From day one the staff made me feel at home and never like I was a patient in a rehabilitation center. Every single staff member genuinely cares and over my 30 day stay those staff members became like a second family.
I recommend this place to anyone who is honestly ready for a new life.
I went in with an open mind and I came out being able to see myself and the beauty of life!!

I was very happy with my experience at Alter mental health. The staff doctors, nurses and therapist all worked together very quickly to help me be healthy enough to go home and take care of my newborn daughter. After having issues with sleep and depression shortly after having the baby, I was overly medicated at a hospital. Afterwards I checked myself into Alter mental health. They worked very quickly to effectively help me to get a level of medication that treated my symptoms W and allowed me to safely breast-feed my daughter. I was so impressed with my experience. I would absolutely go back if I needed to and I would recommend it to anyone. This was my first time seeking treatment at a center rather than a hospital. After 3 horrible experiences at hospitals I am wishing I knew about Alter sooner!

Alter is a lifesaver for any family in crisis with a mentally ill loved one. They have an exceptional team that work closely with the patient and his/her family. As a parent who has been through a roller coaster of treatment programs & hospitals with a very complex / acute son - I can attest to the high level of care & compassion that I received at Alter. Alter never gave up on my son. They supported me through each hurdle that arose and I always had someone to reach out to when I needed information and support. Even after my son was able to finish his stay, Alter staff continues to check in with me about his well being. Families in crisis need this kind of program - excellent care for their loved one and empathy for the family going through the difficult journey.

After struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for over 10 years and being admitted to 5 different rehab facilities, I finally landed at Alter and I am proud to say that I just celebrated my one year sobriety date! I owe a lot of my success to the tools I learned while at Alter! The staff is very caring and truly care about your recovery, helping you build the foundation necessary in order to grow beyond treatment. Also the facility and location of the program is beautiful. Thank you Alter! Thank you for literally saving me from myself and getting me into treatment so quickly. I was at my very lowest and from my initial call through my 33 days at 2 different facilities I was treated so amazing by everyone I came in contact with. The staff top notch and the organization is doing amazing things. I would highly recommend Alter Health Group to anyone and everyone!! If you are looking for the most support and caring facilities you will not be disappointed. The programming is useful and helpful no matter what you are experiencing. I came away from my treatment this week with a new and improved out look on life. I can’t thank everyone that was involved to my healing enough.
