My great grandmother currently stays here for rehab. She had a hip replacement back in January. Facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you ever need something, there is always someone there to help you.

04/12/2025: Hello, my name is Mark D. Writz and I’ve been a resident of the Alameda Center since 12/17/2020. This date is fresh in my mind, because it was the day that I left a horribly abusive situation for an absolutely wonderful one. Now, that’s not to say that I didn’t have my own (false) beliefs about what living in a long-term care facility must be like. I envisioned heavy doors being locked behind you in a place in which you were just lying around and waiting to die. Well, I am happy to say that this could not be further from the truth. I love it here. First of all, the place is immaculately clean. I mean House Keeping is always staffed and are on duty around the clock. Next, the food is excellent. We are offered a wide range for our meals and if you don’t happen to like what is on the printed menus an alternative is always available. Finally, is the staff. They nice, carting and professional. That goes all the way from the top with our chief Administor Chad Giampino, and all the way down, through the Maintenance Department, to the porters. Before I finish up, I’d like to give a shout out to Mordy Jurkowitz (our Assistant Adminisrtator). He is a real problem-solver and he pitches no matter what the task. Came here today march 22,2025 to visit my brother in law and this place is disgusting. The nursing staff is rude and they couldn’t find his wheelchair. They found it because someone else was using it. This is unacceptable and this place will be hearing from my lawyer. And help me howard this place needs to be brpught to light. These are human beings Not animals!!!

This place is a dump. Staff mistreats patients, fails to provide meds and neglects patients. The floors are sticky. They steal patients belongings and staff covers each other up. They have a 3rd floor dedicated only to Indian patients. This place is discrimanatory. This place should be shutdown. Patients come out dead.
