During that course, I learned Data Science fundamentals and how to deal with real-life problems. The instructor is very organized and diligent to teach, and he spends lots of time on the preparation of teaching materials, quizzes, and labs for his students. He has impressive experience in Data Science and Software Engineering fields.
In addition, the course schedule is very convenient for people who work full time.
I highly recommended it to anyone who wants to make the transition to the Data Science field.

If you plan to learn everything you need for Data Science career this is the right course for you! Besides the classes, this course has a lot of materials/resources that will be available for you. I really enjoyed lots of labs and quizzes where I could practice and learn more about the subject. Alper is very approachable and available whenever you need him, let it be asking questions about the class or asking for a hint/answer about the quiz. I think some of the course materials will even help me further in my Data Science career which I think is a fantastic resource to have. Lastly, what is good about this course is that the instructor is currently employed as a Data Scientist which means he is current in the field, knows what is hot right now in Data Science, how interviews are conducted and what you need to do in order to succeed in those interviews. I strongly recommend this course for people who are focused and passionate to be a successful Data Scientist!

I definitely recommend this course to anyone seriously interested in Data Science and AI domains. There are a couple of points that I want to review:

1. The course content is very well prepared. It addresses all required and important topics, not going into every small detail, but instead directs its focus to the important areas. Dr. Alper doesn't want you to memorize concepts, instead, he tries to explain how things work and how it's related to other topics. Not only lectures but also labs (notebooks) and quizzes are very relevant and well prepared. I think this is one of the big differences from other programs. You get a chance to practice hands-on what you learned (from basic to advanced level). Other than course content, he shares examples from data science competitions, business cases, and encourages us to participate in them.

2. The instructor, Dr. Alper, is a unique talent in the AI domain. He has a solid background in data science as well as software engineering. Also, he has long-standing experience in different industries. Thus, for each topic he taught, he can always relate it to a real-life business problem. This is very valuable and hard to find in programs where instructors are only instructors. He's super reachable and very helpful anytime you need support.

3. Dr. Alper is managing Data Science teams and he is a hiring manager. So, he always gives the best tips on how to get prepared for interviews. The course has a section for coding interview preparation, as well as a very long review session (Q&A on most important topics) in the end. He always advises on the course and examples from his prior interviewing experiences.

4. This course is quite intense and expects students to commit their time (around 15h per week) to follow lectures, run labs, and solve quizzes. Besides, there will be areas where you need to support yourself with self-learning to keep pace. Being a data scientist is a marathon, don't expect a quick-win without sweating, so make yourself ready for the journey!

The course is really well organized with labs, quizzes, lecture notes, project, and the content covers all you need as a Data Scientist. If you want to start a new career, Dr. Alper is the correct choice. He has an impressive experience in this field. As a person, Dr. Alper has a great sense of humor, which he utilizes when teaching and communicating with us. He models respect for us at all times and always portrays a high level of professionalism. Therefore, I strongly recommend this course!

It was very frustrating for a beginner like me to search online when you don't know which Data Science course to take, in order to understand the basics.
However, Mr. Halbutogullari covers from Statistics and Probability to Machine Learning Algorithms, with well-prepared lab sessions, all in one!
He is a great instructor and a superb supervisor. I highly recommend his class to anyone who is interested in building a career in Data Science.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to enter the field of Data Science. It is an incredible course because it gives you a good idea of what awaits you in the field. The instructor is well established in his field and has an easy to follow teaching style.

What Dr. Halbutogullari does best is, he gives you clarity of focus. Data Science is such a broad area. You definitely need a good guide if you do not want to get lost. The course sessions are fully packed with information and valuable experiences about how to excel as a Data Scientist as well as maneuvering the interview process.
