On our last training day, Brittany wore a short that said “rescue dog $350, couch, phone, charging cord, door $6000, training with K9 harmony $priceless” and it’s so true! Rex came into our life from Woods Humane society shortly after the loss of our family dog/soul dog. Rex was already a very smart good boy, but he had some habits to work out & us humans… had some habits to work out. Brittany from K9 harmony helped us with both! Rex is still a goofy ball of energy, but his training really helped to set helpful boundaries & for us all to grow closer as a family. Rex was exhilarating some “resource guarding” and the vet warned about this behavior, so much so that she emphasized the potential of returning him. We headed that warning, but there was no way he was going back. This training ensured that we can all have healthy communication & expectations & a happy life together.

Brittany is absolutely amazing! She helped us with our puppy with walking, basic manners, place, redirecting and much more. She gave us so many good tips on how to handle the puppy phase. Brittany of K9 Harmony was so effective in assisting me with my rescue dog. We were so happy to adopt Ka'lani from Woods Humane Society in November. For the first few months, she was calm and very sweet. She had some very strong hunting instincts, but was reasonably good on walks on the leash. After about three months, she became more aggressive with other dogs, bikes, and scooters on our walks. She also had a few aggressive incidents with people, both in our home and on walks. I was fearful all of the time when walking with her.

Brittany was able to assist me in controlling her difficult behavior and over a few sessions, I can honestly say that after six sessions, Ka'lani has the best behavior of any of the sweet dogs that have been a part of our lives, She is a joy to walk on the leash. She does not pull or lunge and has worked out her anxiety and aggression in dealing with the distractions we encounter, Brittany has provided the training foundation we needed to truly enjoy Ka'lani as a member of our family.

We had a great experience with Brittany helping us train our Maltipoo! She helped us navigate through our family dynamic of managing our dog’s behavior around our toddler, as well as other dogs and people interactions. Our dog has been more on the jealous side and territorial, but through her training sessions we learned very full helpful tools so that we can bond with our dog and have respectful boundaries.
